By the time you read this I will be gone for the day, I did not want to wake you up over an appalling waste of ink and parchment.

If you need me I shall be at the offices of Witch Weekly. No need to worry! Perhaps you could spend the day in the library? Or the garden if the weather remains pleasant? Please stay at home in case the children need you - you know I don't like to ask but Miss ___ has been looking feverish of late so she may need your assistance.

Just popping out again today. Can you ask cook to make beef wellington tonight? I know it's a heavy dish and she may need your help rolling the pastry the poor thing's arthritis being what it is but I know you won't mind helping her for the day.

Stay indoors today dear, sister it looks like a storm is brewing,

PS: There is a tapestry in mama's old room that could do with a touch up if you're so inclined? I expect it will take several hours but there's nothing of interest happening outside the house.
