    A bucket-list for the 1887 Season
Many less optimistic girls will already be planning for the end of the season now we are roughly half-way through, but there is still a great deal still to look forward to! Here is Witch Weekly’s guide to everything we think a young lady ought to endeavour to experience before the season is out.

Twenty far more ladylike ways to kill boredom, without using your beau’s rifle!
    1. Attend a costume ball. Even debutantes on a budget can make a delightful costume, and it makes for a wonderful change from the usual fare at a dance.
    2. Sample the rose-blossom tea at Madam Puddifoot’s, Hogsmeade. A romantic drink perfect for an afternoon introducing your beau to your family, or just with friends!
    3. Take a boat out on Padmore Park’s lake. A perennial favourite, several ingenious witches are now hosting entire dinner parties on barges on the water, which sounds delightful!
    4. Play croquet at Sanditon resort. A stay isn’t necessary to enjoy the attractions the resort has to offer, which despite recent mishaps is still a popular destination.
    5. Have your picture taken at Shutterbutton’s Photography studio. Just off Diagon Alley, in Carkitt Market, the studio is the photographers of choice for many high-class events, but their portrait sessions are very affordable!
    6. Dance with Mr Parkinson. Can any debutante say she is truly out without having taken a waltz with one of the favourite bachelors of the season?
    7. Visit the House of Lytton. Even if your budget won’t stretch to a new gown, visiting the atelier is a perfect stop for inspiration!
    8. Sample an enchanted honey sundae at Fudge’s desserterie. The unpredictability of the charms are a perfect way to add some excitement to a grey day.
    9. Retrim a bonnet, using only materials you’ve swapped with a friend. A great activity for a couple of crafty debutantes, it will provide an affordable way to dress up with new ribbons.
Even the most discerning debutante will find some way to pass the time.
    10. Take a drawing class with Madam Claudine. She is the well-renowned art tutor for the ladies of the elite, and her home in Wales is hosting several days offering group instruction.
    11. Visit the Museum of Magical Curiosities. Just off Carkitt market, the museum is a pleasant enough place to pass an hour or so.
    12. Attend a Glorious Twelfth party. Originally a muggle tradition, the three-day long house-party is catching on with the magical elite- sequestering an invite is the hardest part, however! Rumours Lord Esterwick is to host one are unconfirmed.
    13. Take a picnic out to Hawthorne Hollow. Away from the bustle of Hogsmeade, the Irvingly spot is perfectly tranquil.
    14. Try an open carriage ride around Hogsmeade. A perfect way to experience the glamour of Wellingtonshire and the town centre without aching feet!
    15. Attempt archery in Padmore Park. With enchanted bows, even the clumsiest girl can try her luck as a daring damsel.
    16. Attend a flower-arranging course. An often-overlooked skill that makes even the shabbiest house into a home, several florists offer such lessons and good prices.
    17. Visit the Magical Maison. A perfect way to spend a rainy day, the house is a seemingly endless labyrinth of enchanted rooms and corridors- luckily, staff are always on hand to guide you!
    18. Pet a unicorn at Podmore Zoological Gardens. Men aren’t allowed near the exhibit, so it’s a perfect time to get in some women-only gossip without any nosey brothers listening in!
    19. Attend five balls in one night. A test for the stamina, such a night will leave you delightfully exhausted, and provide the perfect excuse to spend the next day in bed, eating bon-bons.
    20. Try your hand at swimming at the magical bath-house. There are many days for ladies only on offer, and a full range of beauty treatments available too.

    Discover Your July Horoscope!
You will experience a coolness from a friend or partner - you should not worry much about it. It relates more to them than anything you did and they will be back to normal soon.
If you start to feel a little bored, be sure to go out and do something or else you will build tension and end up in a fight with another household member.
A letter or visit from a close friend will be delayed, don't let it rune your day with a sense of gloom. It will come eventually. Try visiting another friend instead.
Yo will come across a hurdle in your magic and you might think that you suddenly aren't capable. Don't be overwhelmed. Try another activity. You are likely overusing it and it will come back soon.
You'll have a great idea but you will not have time to work on the idea. Write it down and save it for another month.
You will develope a sudden interest in meditation and self, but do not forget to complete your Earthly activities first.
A friend will distance themselves and seem gloomy. Do not force them to talk to you, it has more to do with them than you. Instead pursue something good for you. You might inspire them.
Your professional life might interfer with your social life and this will cause a divide between you and another. They will not want to talk. Let them be and explain when they will speak to you again.
Family issues or work will prevent you from going on that long awaited vacation. Take care of this issue as soon as possible. You might still be able to go!
This will be a good month for you financially. Believe in yourself despite what others might say about you.
It will seem like your home and family life will interfere with your social life, including you having to cancel your plans. But things will work out in the end allowing you to attend.
You may start the month feeling strong and energetic, but as the month goes on, stress will cause you to tire and become short-tempered. Pace yourself.
