Appearance:
With tousled chestnut hair and a chubby-cheeked round face, Daniel is often believed to be several years younger than he actually is. It does not help that he is short for his age at just barely hitting four feet even - inherited from his petite mother, they say. His family hopes that he just has yet to hit his growth spurt. Expressive dark brows frame clear blue eyes. He has a small and pleasant nose with lips that nearly mirror his mother's in shape. A chubbiness can be found in his arms, legs and belly, though his mother claims it is from his being a child, rather than his never being denied a sweet.
History:
June 4, 1872 — Daniel is born to two muggleborns. His parents tell their families that he is a muggle in order to appease them, as they find magic to be silly and worthy of embarrassment. He is a fussy and demanding baby that is only appeased if being held.
1876 — Daniel has his first display of magic - animating his toys to act like real animals. It terrifies his muggle nanny and his parents are forced to hire an Obliviator in order to rectify things. They hire a magical nanny immediately after.
1878 — Daniel experiences what it is like to have a governess. He does not like her, as he'd rather be off playing. Despite his tantrums and whining, his parents do not budge on this.
1883 — Daniel expects to receive his Hogwarts letter over the summer and is quite excited over it. His parents have already planned to tell the family that he was able to get into a highly esteemed boarding school for wealthy boys to explain his absence.
Personality: He is as agreeable of a person as you would expect for a ten year old boy who has never wanted for anything and knows how to throw a proper temper tantrum to get his way - and he isn't above crying and squealing either.
