Fancy dress balls were not Llewellyn's first choice of event. He supposed it was in the holiday spirit or something like that. It still wasn't his bag though. After chatting to a few friends here and there, the Welshman was feeling slightly more positive about the evening, but he still was feeling a bit unsure about the evening. He was quite sure that there were a few men here dressed as things like electricity and paper or manure or something equally hideous to dress as. Llewellyn had gone for the manly choice of a knight.

While walking through the sea of people and internally judging a few people here and there, Llewellyn spotted a sight that even he in his dislike of costumes could admire. The costume this was, he wasn't that much of a pervert, of course it helped that the wearer too was pretty. "Miss Carmichael!" he greeted with a bow or some shit like that.

Gwenda was very glad indeed to be out of mourning; the fact allowed her to be "disguised" to night as a beautiful white swan, complete with plumage through the skirt of her dress. The mask itself -- also feathered, with a bronze beak -- topped a thin rod that she held by her side more often than not, forgetting in the excitement that she was supposed to be covering her face.

She flitted from this conversation to that, and glid gracefully from dance partner to dance partner before he found her.

"Oh, Mr. Cadwallader!" she greeted gleefully, her free hand momentarily occupied by a glass of punch. "Or is it Sir Cadwallader this evening? I should hate to cause the brave night offence, you see."
Gwenda speaks with a Welsh accent.
