    Honeyduke missing

    where is the sweetshop owner?

On the 7th February Hogsmeade shop owner Quincey Honeyduke was last seen. The last reported sighting was by Miss Jessica Beene, a twenty one year old mediwitch, who visited the shop that day.

Upon me asking her if he had been acting strange, Miss Beene replied, “Not at all! He was his usual self! I visit the shop frequently so I should know.” I also spoke to other customers of the shop that day, all of whom reported that Mr. Honeyduke had not seemed distracted, preoccupied, or anything that was remotely out of the normal. All customers reported that he seemed perfectly normal.

Staff of Honeydukes also reported that Mr. Honeyduke seemed normal, also that they had not seen him through the entire week. “It’s not like him at all,” said Miss Margaret Spring,

an employee of Mr. Honeyduke “He’s so devoted to the shop, he’s hardly ever not here.”

Everything at the shop seemed perfectly normal, except an evil duck got in my way while I was there. The evil Honeyduck. Someone should kill it, cook it, and eat it like the Chinese do.

I attempted to speak to ministry officials about it, all of whom refused to say anything other than the usual official nonsensical statements that say nothing about anything.

People who spot Mr. Honeyduke are asked to report his whereabouts to the ministry or to us here at the Daily Prophet. To all of you who live under a rock, Mr. Honeyduke is a tall man, standing at five foot, eleven inches, has sandy brown hair, blue eyes, and a lean frame. He is also pictured above.

Just one year after the proposal, Rhett Avery was made a widower on the fourteenth. The couple's marriage was wrought with disaster as many experienced the previous summer, but the two had something to look forward to, a child. Unfortunately, their child succumbed due to an early birth and took the life of Mrs. Avery with her.

Rhett Avery was to have a daughter if everything had worked out accordingly, but is now left without a family. The healer was recently promoted as the Head of the Creature Induced Injuries department at Hogsmeade Hospital and should be celebrating the promotion as well as the birth of a child but instead will be stepping into mourning.

It is said he was summoned home from work in the middle of the afternoon on St.

Valentine's Day with news of his wife going into labor. He rushed home with worry knowing it was nearly a month early for her to be giving birth. By the time he arrived, the babe had been born. The little girl was stillborn and never let out a cry while Mrs. Avery was slowly bleeding out. The healer was able to be with her in her last moments.

"I would appreciate some quiet and privacy at this time," Mr. Avery was quoted saying, "I have just lost my wife and my child and need a few days to collect myself. I will no be stepping down from my position and will be back to work in a short time. Thank you." Best wishes and deepest condolences go out to Mr. Avery as well as the late Mrs. Avery's family.
