06.01 AC NEWS: The Activity Check list has been compiled, and deactivations will be underway shortly! If you would like an account reactivated, you can do so by posting in maintenance starting on June 4th at 1:00pm EST. The exception to this is players with no active accounts. If all of your accounts are inactive, you may immediately post to reactivate one. As always, this only applies to accounts deactivated in the Activity Check. If yours was deactivated earlier for another reason, you are welcome to reactivate your character whenever you like! UPCOMING EVENTS: Keep an eye out for this month's events - Kayte's precious bby prefect/head apps are underway and our 6th birthday is June 9th! Don't forget to add any of your own events to the calendar! NEW SKINS In honor of June, we have 3 new summer skins available! I'll leave it to you to explore them. For those who are new, you can change which skin you are using by going to your user cp > edit options. ALSO WEE ACCORDION MENU. As always, any issues/broken items should be posted in maintenance and tag Barnabas Skeeter. If you don't tag me everyone will know you are terrible at following directions. ;) Oh also, a networking button has been added to the mini profile. Use whichever buttons you'd like (remember that the application one is required) and surprise people with ones you don't use with weird gifs. xD) SUMMER INTERNS Summer interns can now post in maintenance for their internship titles and ribbons! Remember, you can complete some coveted usergroup stamps this way. -wink wink nudge nudge- Please post with the account in question so that the staff can see to your requests more quickly! (Debs and recently graduated 7th years can post their requests at a later date. We'll let you know when!)

06.02 Graduating students are now welcome to post in maintenance for usergroup changes and title updates! All occupation reservations made on the 28th, both for summer interns and for regular jobs, expire after today, so be sure to request account updates ASAP if you’ve reserved one! /casually sneaking this into Kayte's post but June Thread Roulette signups are open! They close on the 9th, with pairings announced on the 1oth.

06.06 The first of our prefect positions has been awarded: congratulations to the young @'Handsome Whitledge' for earning that shiny silver badge as sixth year Gryffindor male! His averaged score was 8.77/10. Students require a minimum 7/10 to be awarded the badge, even in categories where they are the only applicant. There are still lots of positions open, so be sure to apply!

06.07 Hey friends! It’s that time of year for us to run Charming’s Annual Checkup, an anonymous survey that lets us see what we’re doing right, what we might consider tweaking, and what we need to improve! Charming is a community that values the opinions of all its members, and we would absolutely love to hear from you! I’ve gone a bit crazy this year so it’s lengthier than usual, but you really only have to do four of the listed seven questions and a lot of it is genuinely just me having broken it down into pages xD This year with 100% more gifs, dance breaks, and bribes—I mean, who doesn’t want a chance at a Té set? Let’s do this! An aside—there is a code word you’ll be given when you complete the survey. It is strongly advised you wait a day or two after submitting your responses to send it in so that your timing absolutely cannot be tied to them, thus preserving your anonymity, if that's something you're concerned about!

06.21 Just a few quick deadlines to remind you guys of— 1. We will continue to accept responses to Charming’s Annual Checkup until the end of the day Friday. Remember that your responses are really crucial in shaping changes to Charming, and also that if you do it, you might get a Téset xD 2. Prefects/Heads, yo! Applications for these roles close next Thursday. We are super keen to get applications for any of our vacant positions, but due to numbers and the desire to diversify are particularly keen to see more apps for Head Boy, Head Girl, 5th year prefects in Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff, and 5th year male Gryffindor :) 3. Thursday is the last day to sign up for our Plot Matchmaker! New and old members alike can always benefit from a chance to branch out, scheme with new players, and earn stamps!

06.28 The morning is bright and full of announcements! First and foremost, please be advised that the July Activity Check will occur on July 1st*. Make sure that all of your accounts are properly listed on the CML, your mini-profiles are complete, and all established characters have posted at least once this month! * Due to scheduling concerns, there is a chance it will occur one day earlier, or a couple days later. We will keep you posted, but aim to have everything squared away ASAP! We’ve also got some new prefects on the table! @'Marceline Bartram' has been chosen for Gryffindor with a score of 7.82, @'Peter Troublefield' for Ravenclaw with a score of 8.21, and @'Persephone Van Helsing' for Slytherin with a score of 7.81. We will be accepting applications for incoming prefects, Head Boy, and Head Girl until Thursday, so get yours in STAT! Better late than never, but Plot Matchmaker pairings have been posted! xD
