    Petra Sleptova vs. Dolly Leigh
    #1
Antonius had judged a duel with both Miss Sleptova and Miss Leigh and he knew how capable they both were, so this one would be a difficult duel to judge. He went over the rules and then turned to the Ravenclaw. "Miss Sleptova, you can start the duel when ready.

Pet was growing both more excited and more anxious about progressing successfully through the duel. It could only get more difficult. Taking a button from her pocket, she held it in the palm of her hand and cast. The charm would make the button emit pretty music if it were to work properly.

Dolly was rather excited to have made it to the third round, and by this point she knew the rules well enough that she was barely listening to Professor Browne.

Miss Sleptova went first; certainly this would be where she got knocked out of the tournament! After all, Miss Sleptova was the Defense Professor's daughter, and Dolly could hardly compete with that.

Once her opponent had taken her turn, Dolly quickly changed her stout shoes into pretty flower-embroidered slippers.

Both of the girls' displays were well-executed, but the Ravenclaw's was sligthly more creative and elaborate in the man's opinion. "The round goes to Miss Sleptova!" Antonius announced. "Miss Leigh, please start the second."

Deep breath, and carry on. The musical button the other girl produced had been relatively creative, especially next to just making her shoes pretty.

Dolly was at a bit of a loss as to what to do, but she needed to push on anyway. Taking that deep breath she had advised herself, the fourteen year old cast a charm to make her hair do itself up in a pretty style instead of just being pulled back with a ribbon.

Pet felt more confident with the first round in her favor, she could do this, she was a Ravenclaw! She took her button once again, now that it was no longer chirping music, and cast a spell to try and transfigure it into a dragonfly.

Both spells were very good. Miss Leigh had done exceptionally well with charms and her spell was one that would be useful in a woman's life. Miss Sleptova, on the other hand, had done a good transfiguration spell that was likely quite difficult.

After some thinking, Antonius decided. "The round goes to Miss Leigh!" He couldn't really judge the spells on success alone, as they were both equal and he wanted to support his Gryffindors! "Miss Sleptova, please start the tie-breaking round."

    Leigh: 6 | Sleptova: 6

The last round, she would either win or lose and whether she did depended heavily on what she did next. She still thought her dragonfly was better than a ribbon but clearly Mr. Browne had other ideas. What could she do to impress him more than Dolly? There was a set of potion vials in the bag she had brought with her, Pet quickly sought them out; there were six empty crystal vials. One would be too easy but six... all at once? If she could pull it off it might just bring her victory. Holding them out in front of her she suddenly let go so that they fell to the floor and shattered into hundred of tiny pieces. "Reparo!" With all hope she'd fix all six of the vials and they'd looked as though they had never broken in the first place.

This was her last chance. Dolly's nerves were leaping now, and she quickly took another steadying breath and cast a spell to decorate her dress and hair ribbons with flowers.

Miss Sleptova's display would have been a great one hadn't she hurt herself in the process. "Miss Leigh wins!"

    Sleptova: 7 | Leigh: 10
    + 6 for injury
