    Isn't It Fascinating?

It was supposed to be a quiet hour in the library. Most people were off in classes but Viola had a free period, thanks to her limited spread of OWL's. In times like these she usually found herself in the art room or the library, and on this particular day she'd decided on the library. It wasn't for any particular reason- no, she'd been studying for her worst subject (charms) plenty. Viola just wanted to enrich her knowledge. That, and she was terribly, and characteristically, bored.

She found herself reading a book titled Irvingly and Beyond about the founding of Irvingly. It had only been written six months ago. It was to a certain extent fascinating, learning about the place she'd just moved to. It was also not a terribly terrific story, and she shut it within twenty minutes.

Then she spotted a rather peculiar book. It was titled History Tomorrow- The practical use of timeturners. What in heaven's name was a time turner? Viola snatched it up, her hair falling out of her messy bun and tumbling onto her shoulders as she did so. It was another half an hour before she picked up her head from the book. Inclined to talk about the subject, she turned her head to the nearest person and began blabbing.

"Did you know about these things, time turners?" she asked incredulously to the boy next to her.
