    Spooky Ghost Facts!
With Halloween approaching, we thought to give a spooky twist to our beloved facts article!

    Herbert Fudge
    1. In his lifetime, he was best known as the proprietor of the Sanditon Resort.
    2. He was born in the 1st of April, 1849.
    3. He died on the 9th of July, 1887, as one of the World Market disaster’s victims.
    4. His favourite country that he has visited in his lifetime was Greece.
The one thing he misses about being alive is a glass of good brandy!

    The Grey Lady
    1. Best known as the ghost of Ravenclaw House!
    2. Judging by her clothes, she must have died sometime in the middle ages!
    3. There is a level of mystery on the cause of her death. Some speculate that she put an end to her life by jumping off a cliff!

    Geoffrey Headington
    1. Best known as a member of the Headless Hunt!
    2. Many suspect that ‘Headington’ isn’t his actual surname but rather one that he picked after joining the Headless Hunt.
    3. He was beheaded in the 15th century!

    Sappho Hartwright
    1. She was murdered in 1879; how tragic!
    2. She finds that the most difficult thing about being a female ghost is the changes of fashion! It surely must be hard to be stuck in just one outfit for the rest of eternity!
    3. The one meal she misses most is her mother’s fruitcake. She also wishes she could have proper breakfast with the tenants of the house she haunts!
