A quizzical expression creased Nero's face as Xene revealed that her gift was not misplaced at all and stranger still, that it was not tangible to begin with. Whatever could she be referring to? An invisible pet rock? The invisible book of invisibility? An imaginary friend? Suddenly he couldn't look at her properly without going cross-eyed before she kissed him. It wasn't the first time but it still made him feel all funny in the tummy and he wasn't exactly sure what to make of her kisses, they were such an open show of affection and what kind of affection that was, he didn't quite know. He began to get a better picture as to what she was referring as she spoke of activities particularly enjoyed by men. Well, as far as Nero knew, he liked a lot of activities like reading and playing the fiddle and the occasional game of quidditch but women could enjoy the former two as much as any man and quidditch wasn't exactly something one played inside without broomsticks and Xene certainly wasn't hiding a broomstick on her. In the back of his mind, he knew to what she was referring but he didn't want to believe it was that quite yet.
