I just said I was going to do posts and here I am.

I hate networking. I hate it. No, that's not quite true I like the results of networking but I have to be really strict about making sure I keep my networking up to date because I hate it so much. Also if I don't start a thread or immediately say HEY LET'S START A THREAD it's not because I don't want one it's either because A) It's completely slipped my mind or B) I'm not sure if you want one and I don't wanna force one on you.

I really enjoy organic character development. A lot of my characters grow so much through negative events in their life, which is why I enjoy torturing them. I especially love to do it to Barney.

My favorite threads are the awkward kind. I love making characters squirm. By far my favorite character ever was Bluford Figg, who I really would love to bring back, but am waiting for him to get a bit older so that I can get him ready for awkward!hurling. also I need to figure out if he's still stalking Cashli

I haven't had any creative writing classes whatsoever and all I know from writing is from reading a ton of books. The lack of education makes me paranoid that my writing is terrible and I'm making all kinds of mistakes, but nobody tells me because I'm the admin. I admire so many of our members' writing styles and view them as far superior to my own. I'm currently working on showing vs. telling and varying sentence structure. It's much more difficult than I thought. Old habits die hard. xD

So you guys may notice that I don't talk in cbox a lot -- actually, I don't really talk in it at all -- and it's not that I don't want to, but I've gotten to the point where group chats make me anxious, so I tend to resort to PMs and one-on-one Skype conversations. xD

For a while now, I've been feeling very self-conscious about my writing. I don't think I'm a bad writer, of course, but there's something within me that knows that I can do better, and it's really been affecting my overall posting activity. This is also the reason you'll find me posting late at night because, not only is my muse strongest from 10 p.m. on wards, but there's also less people around to read it.

Yes, I will admit, a good chunk of my characters are similar to each other. But it's also fun to compare and contrast their differences! Like, for example, Katherine is basically a Hufflepuff version of Immie (who was a Gryffindor) had Immie been sorted into Hufflepuff -- and if you're an astrology geek like me, you'd take into consideration the fact that the both of them are Aries, and so have similar traits -- both are enthusiastic, cheerful, and idealistic, but whereas Immie is more dependent on others (and happy that way) Kate would like to be more independent in her own right.

Yes, I seriously do this; I've even made a chart for this once when I was comparing and contrasting my (current and former) Hufflepuff students. xD

I love threading the little things. I know some people would find them boring and not at all conducive to character development, but threading Immac when the twins take the first steps or threading Garelia being their usual mushy, romantic selves is what I live for. ^.^

The best time for me to create a character would be exam week which are usually held in the third week of every school month. Yay procrastination!
I’ve never been afraid of receiving app notes from Kayte BUT when Kayte PMed me on skype I actually panicked thinking I did something wrong. In reality she just sent me a link to a survey form.
English is my second language so I’m aware that it isn’t the best. I usually stare at my post for an hour before posting. Most of the time, I find my other grammatical errors after the thread has been archived.
I’m incredibly shy so I don’t usually go on to the cbox (I also vanish after saying Hi) nor do I talk to any of you unless it’s for character stuff. But I really want to be socialize and be friends with all of you.
Charming is my first rp forum so I was really confused on what threads were and what the letters (O,S,M,P) beside them meant. I didn't want to bother you guys in the cbox and I was also afraid askingof my buddy (Bree) at that time.
When I first joined, I was intimidated and amazed by the number of characters that most of you play. I still am.
Meeka has gone back to school and is sorry for the very slow replies. Also, if she promised to to start something and forgot please PM her.

I second guess Ed's full name way more often than I am willing to admit.  I almost always call him Ed so when it comes time to use his full name, even though I *know* its Edmund, I have to double check.  Just in case.

I've been here before. Several times actually.

I'm a bit OCD about numbers. My own personal ratios drive me crazy if they aren't somewhat balanced at least by gender. But if you get to looking further I take it even further like making sure I have a birthdate in every month and now that I have over twelve characters I'm making sure there aren't more than two in the same month. I'm also trying to avoid having a character name starting with every letter of the alphabet...

As much as I like for things to happen organically for my characters, I can't help but want to hurl them at certain people and hope for a shipworthy outcome. Edumn

I'm also quite notorious for vanishing at random. It's usually because one of the boys (husband included) are throwing a fit over one thing or another.

Organizing shit is how I relieve stress. The thing that might be making me stress is that I realized something needed to be organized, BUT. I feel better after so.
I recently figured out how many characters I would need to have to have to have a character from each house for each class/blood combo. <.< Like. An UCPB in Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin. And then UCHB in Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin. And UCMB, etc., etc. And I figured out that I only need 12 more which coincidentally is how many characters I have till 50 annnd I want that full set. <.< But hey half of those are LC so yeey ratios.

    omg do it.

I regularly pick up unnecessary side projects. Sometimes they get done. Other times I forget about them. I should really get back to my FAQ overhaul >.>

if I could marry Bee I would but I can't so I ship our characters instead.
    #25
I ship many of my characters with my own characters. Which is very frustrating. I also ship a couple of mine with some of yours but would never admit it until I'm sure the shipping is reciprocated because I am terrified of rejection and embarrassment.

I constantly want to share things with my RL friends about things here on Charming - for example the "I ship Amelia Evans’s Fist with Barnabas Skeeter’s Face [+6][LOL]", or UGHHH BENARI FEELS, IM DYING HALP – but then I realize they'll just look at me with a very odd look and I feel sad.

I was actually really surprised when I saw that someone shipped even one of my characters with someone. It made me happier then I actually have words to describe which is probably a touch really sad but totally beside the point >.>

I post here more then any of my other sites because I'm a horrible person and love you all.

I have serious attention issues and will frequently pop into the cbox, get distracted and pop back two hours later. Surprise! I also frequently work on 7 things at once while in the cbox. Like Kayte, I am the Worst Cboxer in the World.

I'm a v. slow poster at certain points of the semester but I try to be apologetic about it.

If I don't have predetermined specifics--i.e. I'm not making a canon or a want ad--I sometimes decide character's class/location/whatever based on how the ribbons all look together. <.< What I've learned is MC looks good with everything. The rest just depends.

I don't get rid of alerts for posts until I reply, so when I get onto a character account I know I have X number of things to do even if they're not new. Sometimes when I'm feeling a little overwhelmed I'll just switch to an account that I know has nothing to do just to see zero alerts and feel slightly better about myself.

yes that is why I'm on Rena right now
