Quick note to say if you want a candidate feature or event coverage in Witch Weekly and you haven't already coordinated that through me, you are running out of time. Unlike the Daily Prophet, we have a set number of articles per week and a lot of our upcoming articles are already spoken for.

If you do not coordinate any future coverage through me today I cannot guarantee we'll be able to get your feature in before the election, which is only five weeks away.

Election Day! Election day is (OOC) upon us at last!  On December 13th, 1887, eligible voters will make their way to strategically located polling stations across Wizarding Britain. There, they will cast their vote for the candidate of their choosing!  Polling stations are located… Hogsmeade Hall — for residents of Scotland Crowdy Memorial Library — for residents of London The Sanditon Resort — for residents of England A Hall Somewhere in Wizarding Cardiff — for residents of Wales A Wizarding Church Somewhere in Ireland — for residents of Ireland The Knight Bus will be running service to and from polling stations free of charge for one day only. Campaigning for any candidate inside a polling station will get you arrested, but campaigning outside of them is fair game. Wearing a button is fine if it isn't aggressively yelling at people. Hogwarts Students who are eligible to vote will take a portkey to their polling stations from the school’s gates, bar those voting in Hogsmeade who will be escorted by @'Hamish Darrow'. @'Nikolai Sleptov' will take students to London, @'Otavio Caldiera' to Ireland, @'Constance Sykes' to the Sanditon, and @'Rosaline Bennett' to Wales. All classes on the afternoon of the 13th have been cancelled to accommodate voters. Who are our candidates, you ask? Theoretically, you should have been keeping up with them all along ;) You have the ability to vote for the candidates in bold, while your characters can vote for anyone else by using the “other” option in the voting thread: Ichabod Malcorvus Justin Ross Stephen Flint Herschel Dawlish Eugene Scamander Conrí Power Roman Crouch Antonia Greyback Barnabas Malfoy Barnabas Skeeter Justus Pilliwickle Eleanora Brownhill Voting from an OOC perspective starts today. Please head over to our IC and OOC voting threads to cast the votes you are entitled to. Remember to do so from the correct account or forever hold your peace. NPC votes will be tallied on the 12th and released with the election results. I’VE ADDED A CHARACTER. HOW CAN I ADD THEM TO THE VOTER LIST? Characters reactivated or approved on or before December 10th are eligible to vote. Prior to voting, you must PM @'Aldous Crouch' with a link to an IC post (not journal or letter!) posted after reactivation before you cast a vote. I’ll then add you to the appropriate list.
