This was definitely an amusing diversion! Leisa had been spending a great deal of time out in society since recovering from giving birth to Raphael, although she still hadn't found one thing she very much wanted: a lover. Well, except without the messy emotional part, and with the secret rendezvous and a great deal of fun.

At the moment, she'd just have to put up with diversions like roller-croquet, and skating around the Etheriums' ballroom while attempting to hit balls through wickets. It wasn't as easy as it sounded, and as she swung the mallet she lost her balance and started to fall.

Really, just the sound of roller-croquet was exciting. There was no way on earth Jupiter was about to pass up the opportunity to attend such an entertaining event. So there she was and it took only ten minutes for her to find out that she wasn't best suited to roller-skates. After a little practice, however, she soon mastered keeping her balance if she refrained from moving too much. As for the croquet, that was proving a little easier, provided she didn't lose her stability trying to hit the ball. As she got used to it, she got more steady, thankfully.

Jupiter was actually rather sure of her footing when someone toppled into her. For all her newly found balancing abilities, she was unable to stop her feet from sliding out from under her and making collide with the person who had dislodged her to start with. A flash of blonde hair was all she saw before she landed sharply on her rear. She yelped with surprise and pain, and then turned her head to see what had become of the blonde she'd collided with.

Falling and getting crashed into, how wonderful. Frowning, she tried to situate her skirt so she could get back up, and made a vexed noise when she noticed her skirt was torn.

"Are you all right?" she asked the other woman, more annoyed than sympathetic, as she got up and glared down at her dress.

"I was about to ask you the very same question!" she exclaimed with a warm smile. She then carefully got to her feet so she wasn't staring up at the woman from the floor. "I'm quite alright, thank you. You didn't hurt yourself, did you?" she asked with a smile, her concern was genuine. She was entirely oblivious to any annoyance on the blonde's part.

"No, I am quite whole," Leisa said with just a tiny edge of snap in her tone. The redhead, she had already decided, was a complete airhead. "The same, I am afraid, cannot be said for my dress."

Jupiter glanced down at the mention of the dress and noted with dismay that it was ripped. She hadn't done that, had she? No she couldn't have, it was the other woman who had unbalanced her... Unless the extra complication had someone resulted in the tear. "Oh dear, it's ever so pretty too!" she bemoaned, utterly sincerely. She wasn't obsessed with fashion but she had an interest and knew what she liked and didn't like and the blonde had good taste in her opinion. "Surely it's not ruined?" Her knowledge fashion ended at aesthetics - she had learned how to fix people but she knew little about what could and could not be fixed with intricate dresses and delicate fabrics.

"I'll have to see what Kipling can do with it," Leisa sighed dramatically. She hoped it wasn't ruined, but she wasn't sure whether or not it could be fixed.

Jupiter had to assume 'Kipling' was the woman's maid. She was starting to pick up that the woman was a little disgruntled but was choosing to ignore it. "Between magic and a good seamstress, I'm sure it'll be good as new." She smiled kindly, hoping to be reassuring enough to make the woman a little more agreeable.
