New Build Revealed! Institute of Advanced Magic to Open in Hogsmeade

The Daily Prophet can exclusively reveal that the development on the outskirts of Wellingtonshire is the newly founded Malcorvus Institute of Advanced Magic.  It appears that all fears of a workhouse or sanatorium have been unfounded and instead the stately establishment, which will be completed by weeks end, will comprise two separate wings for student housing, one for women and one for men, a dining hall, lecture theatres, a library and a number of smaller classrooms and study rooms.  The facility is set to open next week, with students taking their dormitories as soon as construction is completed.   The institute has been founded by Mister Ichabod Malcorvus, who tells us that the aim of the school is to further the magical education of England’s witches and wizards and to offer something akin to a muggle university.  Where magic can be studied, researched and advanced through safe and regulated experimentation.  It is an exciting opportunity for British witches and wizards to advance their careers while improving their magical prowess.   _____________________________________________________________

The aforementioned founder, Mister Ichabod Malcorvus, is an American pureblood, related to the notable Hogsmeade transplants, The Whytes.   The gentleman has made something of a name for himself in the United States, as a proponent of advanced magical theory, his firm belief that a secondary education is not enough to keep pace with the fast moving world of international magical theory.  Mister Malcorvus, has only recently moved his household to the UK, which includes his two younger sisters.   Enrolment is now underway at the Malcorvus Institute of Advanced Magic, interested witches and wizards are invited to send notice of interest by owl, with NEWT scores and a short introduction, to Master Ichabod Malcorvus, Wellingtonshire.   AUTHOR: Gulliver Doran
