Princess,

I had to go get a newspaper after I read your letter. The way they wrote about it is pretty great, I agree. I don't think there's any chance they'll ever catch us. Besides, you went to the hospital after it all happened, so you're pretty firmly on the victim side. If anything, I might get into some trouble, but it's more likely to be with your mother than anyone who matters.

If you're going to write me please don't send any more exploding letters. I wasn't expecting that and you startled Ignatius. Besides, I'm not the one with the crazy mother who might go snooping through my letters.

I don't think you ought to be too worried on that front. The article seems pretty vague, and if anything, they'd trace it all back to me, not to you. I won't give you up to the Aurors or anything, but if I suddenly leave the country for some extended period of time, you'll know why.

Just kidding, if I leave the country it'll probably be for work, because I do sometimes do work.

Do you know anything about taking care of monkeys?
