What horrible news you have sent me; that you and my dear Antigone suffered the worst fate two parents could possibly suffer! I wish I could offer you more than my sincerest condolences.
The loss of a child, even one not yet born, is a tragic event for which you have my most sincere condolences. An ill luck most plainly hovers over your house, and I urge you to consider what might have brought it lest your wife suffer future heartache. Please advise if there is anything I might do.
