Appearance:
Topping above the average male at a height of 6' 1", Reming normally loses a bit of this height due to the fact that he often is hunched over slightly with a book in his hands. His frame is extremely thin and almost looks of that of someone who hasn't been eating properly. Not that he hasn't, but thanks to his constant presence in the wilderness with animals it can be hard to come by a solid meal daily. Remington usually trying to keep something to snack on on him at all times to keep his appetite mildly content at all times.

Remingtons hair is a medium brown that is usually disheveled in a wind blown state thanks to always battling the elements of the outside world. Despite the many hours spent outside Remingtons skin is rather light and pale in complexion. One can only speculate that since most of his studies nowadays or spent in his animal form that the suns affects don't pass over to his human form. Aside from being rather pale and untamed looking, Remings eyes can be noted as quite charming as they are a mix of medium greens and browns.

While most of Remingtons clothes are rather decent in quality the care that he shows them hardly isn't. Thanks to his career and choice in research most of Remingtons clothes have found themselves with signs of wilderness climbs. Some dirt here and there and always baring a slight dusted look to them. Not one for much social interaction though the combination of this hardly bothers Remington who believes his research is far more important then taking that extra bothersome step towards caring for his garments.

Remington was born into the Lynchs as their fourth and final son. Arthur and Irene Lynch were pleased to see they'd brought another son into the world and having high hopes for their final son gave him a name suitable of those of the upper class. Anything that may aid their children towards a more secure and better future was a task they wouldn't not try to do as they knew how living around lower/middle class wasn't exactly the most appealing course of life.

From a young age Remington was a bit of the odd man out. With three older brothers ranging from nine years older to sixteen years older, it was hard to find a middle grounds for the brothers. As typical boys may be the older Lynchs were rather fond of roughhousing and playing games far to physically advanced for someone of Remings age to keep up with. It made for a lonely childhood that Remington made up for by gaining a strong interest in reading.

As the years went by the difference between the siblings made no noticeable changes as the paths for them had almost already been chosen with how they acted when they were little. Even though Reming could very well keep up and join in on the games his brothers enjoyed he found it rather boring and kept to himself and a pile of books. Unfortunately this led to him developing rather poorly on the social front and on family outings friends would comment on how odd the Lynchs youngest son was becoming. Odd for how he awkwardly tried to carrying on a conversation when spoken to and appearing rather shy and keeping to the shadows from others.

When Remingtons Hogwarts letter finally arrived he was truly excited by the prospect of being able to further his learning. Much of the books he'd spent the last years of his childhood reading where those filled with the many different notions of magic. Although it did mean he was going to have to be put in an environment that was filled with tons of others students, Reming did his best to dismiss the negative thoughts of being forced into many different social occasions. With his love of reading his parents had very high hopes for him once he was within the walls of Hogwarts and he didn't want to disappoint either of them.

Year One:
Sorted quickly into Ravenclaw. Remington is mildly surprised because the majority of people in his family have been sorted into Gryffindor. The extra space from his older brother Clarence [fifth year Gryffindor] aids in Reming becoming more and more anti-social. While he doesn't dislike any of the other students he knows that it is best for one to focus their attention on schoolwork.

Year Two:
Starts to take a close liking to Potions as it is his best subject. Wonders what kind of careers he could possibly choose for his future that would continue to involve it.

Year Three:
Takes Care of Magical Creatures and Earth Magic as his electives. Remy finds that working with animals is an easy way to get in some social interaction without having to do much talking and enjoys it. Has a moment where he realizes that his love of potions and animals have a close tie with a majority of potions ingredients coming from animals. Decides that he'd love to have the chance to discover the many different uses and variants animal products can bring about in a potion.

Year Four:
Isn't really bothered by the fact that Clarence is now gone from the school. Dissolves more and more into a bookworm as he reads up on linking factors magical animals have towards the conditions of potions and their outcome.

Year Five:
Receives Ravenclaw prefect. Something that Remington didn't really expect considering while his grades are above average he is rather socially inept. Between O.W.L.s. coming up and the new found title of prefect Remington studies extra hard to hopefully gain the grades he needs for the N.E.W.T. classes he wants.

Year Six:
Glad to have earned the O.W.L.s. he needed for the proper N.E.W.T. classes, Reming continues his education career towards one built around research. With his time at Hogwarts down to merely two more years now, Remy is often to be found in the library studying as he doesn't want to slip up with the looming thoughts of graduation closing in.

Year Seven:
Reming becomes frantic during his last year as this is 'it' in his mind. This will be his last year to solely focus on education without having to also participate in a job. Suffers from minor anxiety for the majority of the year but still manages to keep his act together.

After graduation, Remington made it into the Ministry under the title of the Research Committee. It was everything he had dreamed it would be as it allowed him to fully investigate the different elements and ingredients used in potions. With the prime goal of focusing on animal based ingredients and discovering new and useful ways they could be used within potions, Remington found himself now frequently travelling from area to area to observe and gather from the many different magical creatures that roam the globe.

Under the pretext of wanting to safely watch and live close to the animals in his studies, Remington began the study of becoming an animagus at the age of twenty. Regardless of his previously good marks in Transfiguration it was a hard task for Remy to learn and he didn't bare any success on the subject for nearly three and a half years. Success being only mildly used as after his first transformation he found himself trapped in his new animal form for three months. With his frequent travels around the globe to study animals though this time frame went unnoticed by family and fellow colleagues. He will never willingly admit to this fact of failure on his part.

While Remington hasn't made any new discoveries towards the use of animal ingredients in potions he has found shortcuts in various potions with the use of different animal fragments. Not one to ever get discouraged on his path towards exploring every lead possible, Remy continues his frequent travels and spends a great deal of his time in the wilderness observing animals in his animagi form.

Personality:
Remington is the epitome of social awkwardness and anti-social behaviors. Thanks to being left out from what could be marked as 'rather manly' activities as a child thanks to the age difference between himself and his siblings, Reming from a young age has always just wanted to vanish from others sight and be left to his minds thoughts. Not to say that other people in particular bug him but after years of being the odd man out it has become hard for him to adjust to common social interactions with others. A fact that is not helped now that most of his time is spent along side that of an animal.

When forced into a social interaction, Remington is quickly submerged into varying degrees of anxiety based on how many people are around him. The result is normally him shifting uncomfortably in spot and talking rather fast as the pressure of being watched really gets his heart racing. Sometimes this can get so bad that he may even start to trip over his own words and is forced to shyly give an apology for his lack of social grace.

Nervous wreck aside, Remington is a very sweet guy underneath it all. The few that do end up close to him are treated very well and always greeted with warm smiles. Despite disliking the general idea of interacting with others, Reming finds that when he returns home from a long trip that he will normally send a letter to one of his friends to come round for tea. After not talking to anyone for months during his trips the simplicity of talking about ones day over a hot beverage helps him reengage himself into the human world.

While Remington may flounder in the common practice of social graces, he flourishes under the pressures of study and research. Having always found the area of potions interesting, the addition to being granted the okay to research within the subject matter has left Reming rather obsessive with his work. The work that goes behind each experiment is an exhilarating feeling and in that moment where he discovers a new property of something Remy can only explain it as the best rush in the world. These moments are ones that he has come to live for and aside from his love of the content his other big driving factor is to get his next big 'fix' of the feeling that rush provides.
