Castor Allaway vs. Yarrow Macnair vs. Edmund Goyle
    #1
A duel with three participants? It wouldn't be the first but it was the first all male one that he had overseen. It would be interesting to say the least!

"Mr. Allaway will cast his first spell against Mr. Macnair who will defend himself. Mr. Goyle will show us his skill with the dummy."

Castor was glad for Professor Prince--otherwise he would not have the faintest idea how to proceed in a three-way duel. The fourth year wished he got to start out on the dummy; chunks of wood, after all, could not show him up.

He bowed shallowly to Macnair before casting a bat-bogey hex at the Slytherin.
castor has several smallpox scars on his face and body that he kept hidden from years 2-4, but he is no longer self-conscious about them. your character might notice this change.

Yarrow thought that this three-way duel was a stupid idea. Couldn't he and Goyle cast against Allaway and once the Gryffindor was out of the way duel each other? That would be far less complicated and Slytherin would benefit either way.

As soon as it was time for them to start, Yarrow casted a shield charm before Allaway's spell could get to him.

Edmund might have been annoyed by the duel's bizarre setup if he had not been very sure he would win. Resisting the urge to smirk, he cast a spell to set his dummy on fire.

Presiding over three students in one duel was more demanding that the norm, he had to concentrate carefully on each to properly decide.

"Mr. Goyle wins the first round, followed by Mr. Macnair and then Mr. Allaway. Mr. Macnair shall start the next round against Mr. Goyle and Mr. Allaway shall then cast his spell on the dummy."

    [Scores: Castor 8, Yarrow 9, Edmund 13]

Icarus winced as Mr. Macnair attempted his spell and ended up having it backfire on him rather gruesomely. The boy was whisked off to the Hospital Wing and it was fair enough to say that he wouldn't be participating any further.

"Mr. Macnair has been ejected from the tournament. Mr. Goyle may cast next, followed by Mr. Allaway."

    • Edmund rolled his eyes. Macnair was a solid beater, but a joke of a prefect and apparently a joke of a duelist as well. Still, that was one less person between him and victory over the entire tournament—which was certainly a bonus! After all, surely he could take care of one young Gryffindor?

As soon as bid, the Slytherin cast a body-bind spell on the other chaser.

    • With Macnair out of the picture, only the crabby Edmund Goyle stood between Castor and actually winning the tournament—surely it couldn’t be that hard? Quickly, the fourth year threw up a shield charm in an effort to protect him from whatever the elder boy brought to the table.

It was to be expected really, the Gryffindor was far younger and more inexperienced than the Slytherin, it would be a miracle if his shield charm held out and protected him. As it was, the body bind hex was well aimed and hit it's mark.

    "Mr. Goyle is the winner!"

    [Scores: Caster 6, Edmund 12]
