Appearance: Though he would surely not be considered the most attractive man about, he isn’t entirely unattractive either. Being slightly above average in height and rather slender, he looks very much like a tall and lanky man with strong and distinct features. There would surely be no mistaking Ezra as someone else and thinking someone else to be him as those features are rather unique to the man but very fitting.

His nose is rather long and slender, much like his build, but seems proportional to his long face. Age hasn’t been the kindest to him and has left his thin face with several sets of wrinkles and laugh lines. And though he has an aged appearance he has still maintained some semblance of attractiveness. He has rather blue eyes that show his happiness and laughter for those who happen to see the softer, less serious and all business side of him.

His hair has lightened over the years and surely shows signs of graying, the silvery strands mixing within his hair. He prefers to keep it shorter in length, believing it helps to mask the ever lightening color of his locks. He works hard to keep his family well taken care of and it shows in his attire. Though he doesn’t go for the tightly tailored look what with his lankiness, his clothing is always kept well and typically always looks new whether it is or not.

History:

• 1833- Ezra is the first born child to Lucas and Helen Faulkner.
  1837- At just four years old, Ezra shows his first signs of magic. Though his mother was of muggle origins, she doesn’t seem phased by the fact her doted upon son has magical talents.
  1841- His sister is born, Edna. He isn’t quite sure of his feelings toward her at first until he is able to hold her and he knows that he will be the ever protective older brother in that moment. His mother is nearly lost, however, after having fallen ill after giving birth to Edna.
  1843- Lucius informs him of his betrothal to Vertiline Ramsey, an only daughter to an old school friend. Ezra is rather indifferent on the matter, only really concerned with his loyalty to his father and the man’s wishes. Luckily, he has at least known Verty her entire life, the families having been close for years.
  1844- Shortly after his eleventh birthday, he receives his letter to Hogwarts. He decides on an owl for his pet. His father is secretly upset when he hears his son was sorted into Ravenclaw instead of his former house of Gryffindor. He is relieved, though, that he was not sorted into Slytherin.
  1848- In his fourth year, Verty joins him at Hogwarts. He doesn’t anticipate her joining his own house of Ravenclaw and is rather unsurprised when she is sorted into Hufflepuff like her mother had been.
  1851- He graduates from Hogwarts with high marks all across the board. He becomes an intern at the Ministry of Magic with the Committee for Experimental Charms and quickly begins making a name for himself within the Ministry.
  1855- Verty graduates in May and the two are married in December. He’s already made quite the name for himself and is rather well off financially. The reside in his home in London after being married.
  1856- Their first child is born toward the end of the year. A daughter to be named Moira Helen Faulkner after having succumbed to his wife’s wishes of naming their first daughter after her dearest friend instead of his mother.
  1858- Their second child is born. Another daughter to be named Astraea Edna Faulkner. He is a little disappointed that they do not have a son though is pleased with the chance to name her partially after his beloved younger sister. It is shortly after Astraea’s birth he realizes that he was fallen quite in love with his wife and the life they have together, being indifferent on the matter and emotions previously.
  1864- Their third child is born after a lull in pregnancies. Ezra is delighted that he finally has a son. He is named Fabian Oliver Faulkner.
  1868- After another short lull, Verty gives Ezra another son to be named Watson Thane Faulkner. Moira goes off to Hogwarts. He is slightly disappointed that she is sorted into Gryffindor instead of his own house of Ravenclaw but is proud of her nonetheless.
  1870- Astraea goes to Hogwarts and joins her older sister in Gryffindor.
  1875- Another son is born to be named Micajah Hugh Faulkner.
  1876- Ezra has high hopes that Fabian will break the cycle of children not sorted into his alum house. He is rather let down when the battle between Ravenclaw and his sorted house is lost, Fabian ending up in Hufflepuff like his mother.
  1877- Ezra begins to suspect that something is not quite right with his third son Micajah. The boy seems to not be developing quite properly but Verty shoots down the idea of him being sent to a school for handicapped children.
  1879- His second son finally breaks the cycle and is sorted into Ravenclaw. Ezra is rather excited and proud when Luther writes home to say he was sorted into his old house. 1882- He moves the family to Hogsmeade. He continues his career, working long hours believing a hard working father and husband is what’s best for the family. Providing for them being his top priority.
