This is open to an upper class woman of any blood or a middle class woman of pure blood. Preferably the first!

While Sebastien hated going to places that had a stench to them, he did like animals and getting to be around them. Owls were very practical pets for wizards; they delivered letters and messages quicker than any horse carrier could. Sebastien, dresses in a fine coat and suit, walked into the Owl Emporium, his nose crinkling at the scent of owls and their 'business'.

He first nodded in greeting to the woman behind the desk, then went and walked down the aisles, looking each owl in the eye. It was funny how many kinds of owls there were. There were barn owls, snowy owls, brown owls, elf owls, eagle owls, spotted owls, and horned owls.

There was just one question on his mind, though: which one would he get? His previous pet owl had suddenly died from some sort of sickness it got from somewhere, so he knew he would have to get a new one if he planned to communicate with distant family. Keeping his eyes on the cages, he turned the corner and almost ran straight into a shorter figure—a woman. "Oh, pardon me, Miss. I should have been watching my step," he said, taking his hat off in respect.

Ruby disliked the Owl Emporium, it was always sort of stinky though she could tell that the employees did their best. Still, at least she was free for the weekend, having been taking out of the finishing school for the weekend. Her great aunt wanted a new owl because her old one had finally kicked the bucket. And she insisted on looking for it herself and had decided she had to drag Ruby along much to the young womans chagrin. She liked animals well enough but that didn't mean she desired to be surrounded by the smell of their ... business.

Ruby was reading the back of some owl feed, more to have something to do as her great aunt chattered with one of the shopkeepers about the requirements she had in an owl. Putting the feed down, Ruby sighed and turned around, only to almost bump into a man. Ruby felt a spark of annoyance that quickly went away at the gentlemanly behavior.

"It's quite all right, sir," she assured with a proper, little curtsy. Well, talking to a handsome man was better than reading about how much feed to give to an owl any day.

Looking at the woman he'd almost ran into, he felt a rush of... relaxation... he was almost... captivated with her. She had pretty blue eyes and dark brown hair, and for a while he forgot that he was attracted to blondes more than he was brunettes. He nodded his head, appreciated that she didn't seem very upset with him. Even if she did, he felt that he'd be a little helpless, but he wasn't quite sure why. "Shopping for an owl as well? Or are you rather buying feed instead?" He asked curiously, seeing a little bit off food sticking to the palm of her hand. It was funny: Sebastien considered himself so independent, but he was being a little flustered at the sight of a pretty lady.

Ruby smiled up at the man, quite sure that she had managed to captivate him without even trying. Internally, Ruby went all: >D. Externally though, she managed to appear unaware of it. She was aware that men tended to get embarrassed if they realized a woman was aware of their effect on them. And she didn't want him getting overly flustered to the point where he would be a bumbling oaf.

"Oh, not for myself," she said, dusting off the feed that seemed to have stuck to her gloved palm. "My great aunt is getting a new one because her previous one passed away after years of service," she said, smiling up at the man. "And how about you, sir? Have you found what you were looking for today?"
