    Ugh Halfbloods

Some halfblooded Slytherin had managed to get a detention during the Hogsmeade weekend, losing some house points in the process. That, of course, did not please Artemisia in the slightest. Slytherin was already doing bad enough as it was, they didn’t need to do worse on the house tournament! At this rate, Hufflepuff would get the house cup.

“You could expect it from a halfblood,” Artemisia commented quietly. She was sitting around a group with other purebloods, so she felt free to say such things.

The day had started out well enough. He got though his morning classes with no issues, submitted the extra homework he had done to make up for any time he'd recently lost and even managed to score himself some extra credit points along with a handful of house points for answering things correctly. It gave a him a pleased feeling till he heard that the house not only lose a great deal of house points but they had all gotten detention over the weekend.. Less hadn't even know that was possible. He complained to everyone that would listen and even some people who just happened to be in eating range.

He slumped down the hall and entered the great hall to grab something to eat. he could spot a few of the pureblood snakes sitting around, poking at their meals and muttering as if they couldn't believe the Professors would punish them so harshly for a few half blood students actions. Less agreed and while he was normally extremely vocal he was also extremely hungry at the same time. So he filled his plate before even thinking about giving his own two cents on the matter to his fellow Slytherins. He picked up the glass of pumpkin juice he had poured himself and took a sip. A voice by his side got his attention and he gave a wordless noise. "It's shame is what it is. I don't understand how the head of house didn't argue against it. I mean to punish all of use what a few mixed blood students did. It's barbaric honestly."

In all honesty, it was the rules for students to lose points, so Professor Prince couldn’t really do anything about it. It was unfair for the not useless Slytherins to suffer as well, but those were the rules. All they could do now was try harder and regain those lost points.

“The rules are the rules,” she commented with a slight bitter tone. “Hopefully, after hanging from their thumbs for hours, they’ll know better than to break them.” Of course, troublemakers received such detentions all the time and that still didn’t fix their behaviour. It was as if they couldn’t feel any pain. Which was both admirable (to an extent) and annoying.

He made a noise in the back of his throat as he reached forward to grab a few cakes to pile onto his place. For him gaining weight and keeping it had always been a struggle. So he thought he had more room to eat fatty desserts more than any other student did. He ate twice as much as his other fourth year house mates because when he did get sick he didn't eat at all. "You really think they'll learn? They don't have the education and manners we do." He gave a snort and tugged his plate closer.

"I think they should be taught a lesson. They're ruining the honor of the Slytherin house. they should learn they can't do things like that without punishment." He bite into one of the cakes carefully so he didn't make a mess. He grabbed his goblet and washed the bite down before glancing over to the female Slytherin. "Does anyone happen to know exactly which students caused the trouble?" He twisted the goblet in his hand watching as the liquid swirled around in it's container.
