Cassius Lestrange vs. Konstantin Fisk

Cassius Lestrange was his cousin Ellory's cousin. Konstantin Fisk was the guy from before. He went over the rules with a dramatic voice. This was the end. One of them would probably not be alive by the end of this duel. Or not because if one of them died Elmer would probably be fired because he literally had one job and that was to make sure that they didn't kill each other.

"Mr. Lestrange can begin," Elmer said and then sighed heavily.

Cash had the distinct sensation that he was going to lose the two duels this round, because Fisk was older than he was and because Carmichael was older and an auror. But that didn't mean he would go down without a fight; he was, after all, a Lestrange.

Coming out of his bow, Cash sent stupefy at Fisk.

Well so far it had all gone surprisingly well. He had managed to keep his hair, which was more than some had done, and to his knowledge Macmillan wasn't married to anyone in Lestranges family, which couldn't hurt.

Reacting quickly Kons put up a shield charm.

Surprisingly, the younger contestant had been succesful the first round. After Mr. Fisk was un-stupefied, Elmer said: "Mr. Lestrange takes the round. Mr. Fisk, you may start the second."

Cash: 7, Konstantin: 6

Smarting slightly from the initial fail Kons regrouped and sent a piece of transifguration to turn Lestrange into a ferret. because Lauren would totally advocate Moody's manifesto

Oh no it sounded like a transfiguration spell. That was worrying; Cash was very bad at transfiguration, and wasn't even entirely sure what was heading for him.

Cash sent up a shield charm and hoped for the best.

Mr. Lestrange was turned into a ferret. This was almost amusing. "Mr. Fisk wins the second round," Elmer announced as he turned Cash back to his human self. "Mr. Lestrange, you may start the tie breaking round when ready."

Konstantin: 9, Cassius: 7

Well fuck.

Cash cast a full-body bind.

Kons summoned strength and cast a reflective shield.

  

[Elmer Macmillan]

Cash: 6, Kons: 6

Neither of the performances was particularly strong but Fisk's shield had done its job, to an extent. "Mr. Fisk wins the tournament!"
