    MRS. VOLKOVA DECAPITATED

    WEALTHY WIFE LOSES HER HEAD IN AN HORRIBLE ACCIDENT

    Mrs. Nadia Volkova, wife of Mr. Alexei Volkov (originally of Russia) recently gave birth to a second daughter. However, joy soon turned to sorrow as four days after the birth of Miss Svetlana Volkova, Mrs. Volkova fell in her bedroom and caught her neck on a curtain cord. The cord, which was run through with

    decorative metal, drew tighter until her head was separated from her body.

    An official investigation into the matter revealed that there were no signs of foul play, and that Mrs. Volkova's death was indeed an accident. She passed on the second day of February, and will be buried with the Volkov family in Russia.
