Appearance:

As an identical twin, Felix matches Fitz down to (almost) the last detail. Felix has light grey eyes and light brown hair that might once have been dark blonde, kept reasonably short but not as short as his twin’s, stands at the same height as him at 5’7” and is also right-handed. The main differences between the two (well, minus Fitz’s missing testicle) is their build, with Felix being less muscular and broad shouldered, though with the slight stockiness it’s clear to see he’d manage a similar physique if he ever got over his strong aversion to excessive exercise. Felix generally dresses to blend in, much to his mother’s annoyance.

History:

☞ 1860 | Felix is born only a few minutes after Fitz, making him the third (eventually of five) son, thoroughly in the middle almost from birth.
☞ 1861 | In an event Felix doesn’t even register, Florence is born (ending his spell as youngest child), and Faustus leaves for Hogwarts.
☞ 1863 | Felicity is born and whilst Fitz isn’t impressed, Felix can’t wait to play with her like he does with Florence.
☞ 1864 | Freddie is born and Fitz shows his first sign of magic.
☞ 1865 | Almost a year after his brother had, Felix displays his magic by suddenly magnifying a maid’s voice he’d been struggling to hear whilst trying to eavesdrop.
☞ 1866 | Fiona is born, and Felicia leaves. Felix likes the sound of another playmate but does see that she’s rather tiny.
☞ 1867 | Frances leaves and Felix begins to get excited that he’ll one day get to go too.
☞ 1868 | Gideon is mistakenly killed as a dark wizard by aurors and Felix doesn’t understand why it happened and is very upset, though he doesn’t blame anyone for it. In similarly bad news, Felix loses his spot as youngest son to Fabian.
☞ 1871 | Fitzroy and Felix leave for school and both are sorted into Slytherin. Whilst his brother seems to have no trouble getting to know everyone, Felix is much more content to just listen.
☞ 1873 | September sees Felicity join them at school and Felix picks up Divination and (more reluctantly) Arithmancy, his Mother demanding he picks at least one sensible subject.
☞ 1874 | Fitz loses a testicle and Felix (having always been overshadowed by him a little) finds it rather amusing, though he is still sympathetic.
☞ 1875 | In the summer Faustus marries his betrothed, and Freddie then also leaves for Hogwarts in September.
☞ 1876 | Felix carries off a better set of OWLS than his brother, getting Os in Divination and Charms, Es in Herbology and Transfiguration, and one P in History, the rest getting As. He continues Charms, Divination, Herbology and Transfiguration.
☞ 1876 | Fitz becomes quidditch captain, Faustus shows the rabbit fertility genes when his wife delivers twins and Fiona starts Hogwarts.
☞ 1878 | Felix achieves four Es, much better that’s Fitz’s single pass, and takes up a post as reporter. His mother would probably have been less supportive had his twin not ended up playing quidditch.
☞ 1880 | Fitz’s promotion means he can move out, but Felix is content to go along with his mother’s whims for the most part. Fabian goes to Hogwarts, Florence comes out and Frances has her first child.
☞ 1881 | Florence marries a muggleborn. Felix is happy to see her happy, but can’t help but feel that there will be a scandal.
☞ 1882 | In a feat that truly makes Felix question the possibility of being switched at birth, Fitz marries. The woman is a young heiress but Felix still doesn’t see the attraction of marrying so early- or marrying at all, truly. He confesses as much to his mother and so she arranges a match for him, to Rosalind Pendergast, a young lady he’s assured is pretty and will make a good wife.
☞ 1883 | His twin’s wife dies from a miscarriage not long after his own betrothal is dissolved after Miss Pendergast confesses her unhappiness at the situation and Felix becomes convinced it will lead to no happiness on either side. Florence has her first child, and not long after so does Fee, although tragic events see her end up in the asylum. Through subtly pulling some strings Felix helps keep this under wraps, and what no one knows can’t hurt them.
☞ 1884 | The minister’s death gives Felix plenty to write about before the events of the summer see him lose a sister and niece. Fitz then manages to get locked up and Felix reaches whole new levels of concern over how they’re related.
