Appearance:

For his old age, Benjamin is lookin' good those damn anti-aging potions sure work their magic. He stands a little over five feet, eleven inches tall, and weighs no more than one hundred and sixty pounds. He has silver hair that used to be brown before he aged, and his eyes are a silvery-blue shade. He dresses in only the nicest of the nicest robes, usually avoiding muggle clothing unless he's going somewhere muggles might be present. He is right-handed.

History:

1806 | Benjamin Bainbridge is born the second son to James Bainbridge and his wife at their home in England. His birth was an easily one, though he worries his mother and nurse when he fails to cry shortly after his birth.

1809 | Benjamin shows his first sign of magic during a family outing.

1818 | Benjamin goes off to Hogwarts, and is not surprised when he is sorted into Slytherin. He takes a huge liking to his Defence Against the Dark Arts, Transfiguration, and Charms class, but dislikes Astronomy and History of Magic. He excels in his flying class, and attempts to try out for the quidditch team. Sadly, he fails and is forced to wait another year to try out again.

1819 | Benjamin tries out for the quidditch team and becomes a beater.

1822 | Benjamin is picked to be the Slytherin prefect right before his fifth year.

1823 | Benjamin takes his OWLs and gets almost perfect scores.

1825 | Benjamin takes his NEWTs and gets the scores required to participate in auror training. He graduates and begins to train to become an auror at the Ministry of Magic with ambitions to become the Head Auror.

1828 | Benjamin finishes his auror training and becomes a full auror.

1842 | After the head auror vacates his position, Benjamin takes over.

1849 | At forty three years old, Benjamin marries Izora Carrow, a young debutante who failed to find herself a husband within three years time. The two meet and find themselves attracted to each other, though neither one would call it love. The two marry and begin attempting to conceive a child.

1852 | After trying for three years, Izora gives birth to a daughter who they name Cosmina. Benjamin is disappointed that his first child is a son, though would never dare say anything to his wife who just wished for a child.

1853 | Benjamin gets promoted to the Assistant Head of his department.

1855 | Izora finally gives birth to a first son who they name Hamilton. He is immediately doted upon by mother his mother and father, but Izora still finds that her first daughter, Cosmina Bainbridge, is her favorite child.

1857 | Benjamin is promoted to head of his department.

1858 | The second son of the family, Edgar, is born to Benjamin and Izora.

1860 | The third son and fourth child in the family, Reginald, is born.

1862 | Izora is ecstatic when she gives birth to a second daughter, Samantha.

1863 | Cosmina goes off to Hogwarts and is sorted into Slytherin.

1864 | The third daughter in the family, a sweet, blonde little girl named Phoebe is born. It's never spoken aloud, but her quiet atmosphere and pretty face makes her the favorite daughter of Benjamin Bainbridge.

1866 | Hamilton goes off to Hogwarts and is sorted into Slytherin.

1867 | Geoffrey and Georgiana, the Bainbridge twins, are born.

1869 | Edgar goes off to Hogwarts and is sorted into Ravenclaw.

1870 | Cosmina leaves Hogwarts and debuts into society.

1871 | Reginald goes off to Hogwarts and is sorted into Hufflepuff.

1873 | Hamilton graduates from Hogwarts and goes to work at the Ministry in the Department of Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures.

1874 | Samantha goes off to Hogwarts and is sorted into Hufflepuff.

1875 | After suffering from a magical bug that really takes a toll on his health, Benjamin retires from his position as head of the department and allows his assistant head to take over. Upon recovery, he takes a seat on the Wizengamot. Phoebe goes off to Hogwarts in the fall and is sorted into Slytherin.

1876 | Edgar leaves Hogwarts and goes to work at the Ministry in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement with the hope of becoming an auror.

1877 | During the summer, the Bainbridges retreat to a family home in Windermere after escaping from the muggles in London.

1878 | Reginald graduates and goes to work at Gringotts as a curse-breaker trainee. While Benjamin isn't impressed by this decision, he allows it, not wanting to send him into a rebellious stage that might embarrass his parents.

1881 | Samantha leaves Hogwarts and debuts into society.

1882 | After hearing of a silent plot (from the maid) that consists of his third son, Reginald, running away to marry a lower class, curse-breaking woman he fell in love with, Benjamin hires a hit-man to murder his son while he's working in Egypt and stage the whole thing as a freak accident. Word comes back within a month that Reginald has died in an accidental explosion, leaving the family scandal-free and in mourning for a year. In the same year, Phoebe finishes at Hogwarts and is sent off to a finishing school in Windermere.

1884 | None of the Bainbridges are affected by the plague and fire that take over Hogsmeade, as they live far enough away to where it's not an issue. Phoebe returns from finishing school and begins her hunt to find a husband.
