Greene Succumbs to Injuries Carriage Accident Claims Second Life

The carriage accident that claimed the life of Mr. James Riley has also proved fatal for Mr. Cory Nicholas Greene of Wellingtonshire this Sunday. The accident occurred on the evening of Sunday the 12th as the two men were reportedly returning home for dinner at the Greene residence. After a week of hospitalization, Mr. Greene’s condition continued to deteriorate and he succumbed to his injuries on Saturday last. Healers suspect they were not able to repair all of the severe internal damage caused by the upheaval of the carriage and after a week-long battle, Mr. Greene’s body could no longer handle the trauma. _____________________________________________________________

Mr. Greene, muggleborn son of Caroline and Nicholas Greene, was born in 1858. He spent his time at Hogwarts in Hufflepuff and upon graduation spent many credible years as a member of the Magical Accidents and Catastrophes Department of the ministry. It was an occupation he took to heart and excelled in, according to his widow, Mrs. Florence Greene. He is survived by his wife, their two daughters, Chloe Felicity and Victoria Frances; and sisters, Celia and Marissa Greene. He is predeceased by both of his parents. AUTHOR: GULLIVER DORAN

Public Art Gone Wrong Lewd Graffiti in Padmore Park

Those who enjoy early jaunts through Padmore Park were surprised this morning to discover that one of the park's paths had been covered in lewd graffiti. No one claims to have seen who may have left this offensive mark, but several sources report that efforts to remove it have thus far been unsuccessful. _____________________________________________________________

Anyone who has information pertaining to the graffiti is urged to contact either the Ministry or the Daily Prophet. Also, citizens are advised to steer clear of the path to the north of the lake in Padmore Park until the offensive sight can be dealt with. AUTHOR: Gulliver Doran
