HOUSE COLLAPSE IN IRVINGLY
HOUSEHOLD PESTS TO BLAME ![]() |
Yesterday afternoon in Irvingly's Swallowbury district, Miss Moira Prewett's house collapsed without warning, shocking the few residents who managed to witness the event. According to onlookers, the entire house caved in on itself and was reduced to a pile of rubble in a less than five minutes. Miss Prewett was reportedly in the house at the time of its collapse but escaped with only a few minor injuries. Her house elf was less fortunate and did not survive. _____________________________________________________________ |
The reason for such a new and apparently sound building collapsing has been traced to a rampant infestation of bundimuns, the secretions of which can rot the structure of a house. These pests can usually be taken care of by scouring charms when in small quantities, but more dire infestations require the services of the Pest Advisory Bureau. Miss Prewett claims she was unaware the infestation had grown so critical and placed the blame with her house elf for neglecting its duties. AUTHOR: GULLIVER DORAN |
