Christmas Magic

[Glitter Whitledge]

Glitter really wasn't sure what she planned on doing for the few days up until Christmas, or the days after but before school started again. She didn't want to bother her cousins anymore than she already felt like she did. She had to admit that she probably didn't annoy them as much as she thought. At least is was good to see Cheesecake again.

The Christmas spirit never ceased to amaze her. There was just something about the decorations, the magic, that made this holiday seem more... magical. She wasn't sure how to explain it, and she could probably claim to not care much about the magic, since it had been a constant part of her life for her whole life.

There was no denying that the decorations where beautiful, that whoever had decorated had put a lot of work into it. Glitter probably could have continued taking in the unique, Christmasy, stores, but she was getting cold and she didn't think it would be appreciated by anyone -- herself, her siblings, or her cousin -- if she caught a cold a day after getting out for the remainer of the year.

She took shelther in a store, not paying close enough attention to which store she had entered. She hadn't even realised how cold she was until she was met with the warmth of the store. Why hadn't she thought about wearing something that wouldn't randomly stop keeping her warm?
