MARCH 10TH 1887
Pettigrew Found Unconscious
Thom Pettigrew Passed Out On Wellingtonshire Street; Cause Unknown |
Mr. Thomas Pettigrew, owner of Quality Quaffle & Snitch and the sponsor of professional Quidditch team Puddlemere United, was found unconscious on the street of Hogsmeade a few blocks from his Wellingtonshire home this afternoon. A witness claimed he was stumbling prior to his collapse, "as though drunk." The witness declined to give her name, but noted that she was a devout reader of Witch Weekly and admitted that the article on Mr. Pettigrew, published several weeks ago, may have influenced her opinion of events. Mr. Pettigrew was transported to Hogsmeade Hospital, however healers were unable to determine the cause of his collapse (though when questioned, one noted that he did seem quite sober _____________________________________________________________ |
and there was not a scent of alcohol anywhere about him). His family could not be reached for comment, but it is notable to point out that they have been removed to the Pettigrew country estate in Lancashire since December. Was Mr. Pettigrew in Wellingtonshire to visit a friend, or to conduct some business? Is the task which brought him to Hogsmeade related to his sudden feint? Sources at the hospital say that Pettigrew has since awoken and is expected to be released by the end of the day in good health. The cause of his collapse remains, for the moment, a mystery.
