    A Letter Home

For those who have eye issues, the letter reads thusly:
    Uncle,
I cannot believe another year has so quickly gone by. I swear, sometimes, I'm still that awe-struck eleven-year-old. I suppose that is a good thing, though.
I do hope my performance in school makes you proud...and Mother. You know how I miss her, Uncle. Her, and our other siblings. Although, as it was a choice between them and Isaiah, I would rather have Isaiah.
Do you still keep her posted, Uncle? I wouldn't want to press the subject, but...as I said, I do often miss her.
    With much love,
    Joanna.

    My Dear Joana

Do not fret for your mother's safety, she does well and is delighted to hear how you and Isiah are doing in school, and while our magical abilities make your father and her uncomfortable this is to be expected from muggles and they cannot be blamed for their fear.

I write frequently to your mother in the muggle fashion and she has suggested that perhaps the 5 of us could meet for lunch at some stage over the summer. Now that you control your magic, we can perhaps begin to build those bridges once again.

Study hard for your exams my dear niece, but not too hard, and I look forward to having you and your brother home for a family dinner soon. Share my best with Isiah.

    With fond affection
    Your Uncle
    U.W
