I want to make this thread with as many people as we can get. I've never done a really big thread before, this shall be exciting!

Guinevere was delighted at how beautiful the decorations were. It turned out fantastic, and she was going to send her compliments to those who made her idea a reality. Though, at this ball, she had made some changes from the last one, due to the complaints from some of the parents. She normally has someone at the door to greet guests in, but this time they were also given some specific instructions. To not let anyone in that had not cleaned up beforehand, and to not let in those who were without costume. She hoped that this would be enough to please her more rich guests. She still wished to be welcoming to all, as she still let in anyone who could meet those requirements.
Before the party had started, Guinevere had made sure that all of the more valuable belongings had been sent upstairs, though that had been no different than the last party. No one was allowed upstairs anyway, and it helped to prevent anything from being taken away by any guests. She was trusting, but not stupid.
At the moment, she was sitting at one of the two thrones that were against the wall, right at the center of it. It had been a busy day and she was now enjoying the comfy chair before going to dance. She gazed over the room as she stayed quiet, thinking. Not many had come to complement her party, but the night had barely begun, so she wasn't upset. She waited for them to take their time and enjoy themselves, though it would be nice to have a conversation or two with some of her guests.
