With the half-breed ban now very much in effect seeing as the new school year had begun, Suzy couldn't help but feel that it wasn't entirely fair. Also as a secretary for the Department of Magical Education it was particularly relevant to her. As a separate matter, Suzy didn't think there ought to be any mingling of species and had no qualms about the marriage ban. However, it seemed ethically wrong to abruptly cut off students who hadn't been troublesome at school because of questionable judgement on the part of their parents. If they wanted to prevent further enrollments, she could understand that perfectly, but to cut off students in the midst of education without much even in the way of warning?
As she was dropping off some paperwork to the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, this weighed heavy on her mind. She'd received a letter that morning on the subject and it had stirred it up again for her. Suzy passed the documents over to one of the clerks. "These are the files requested on the ban." The slip of the tongue went unnoticed, at least by Suzy, for now.
