By the time you read this I will have left the country and you may or may not already be aware that I have taken Belvina with me. Just as sons benefit from a present paternal figure, a daughter needs her mother and so the best place for her is with me.

I regret that it was not possible to discuss this with you sooner.

Ursula,

How dare you leave the country and take one of my children with you without so much as a warning. You were at liberty to go once the holidays were over, you were not however, allowed to simply indulge your own whims and take my daughter with you without my permission.

You will tell me where you are by week's end and I will be sending for Belvina, or you may both return in the same time frame. Do not test me Ursula, you are unfit to care for a child on your own and I wont see our youngest subjected to such circumstances. Should you choose not to cooperate, I will come for her myself and you will be taking an entirely different kind of holiday.

Phineas,

I am her mother, of course I am fit to take care of her; how dare you suggest otherwise! As if you are in any position to question my capabilities as a parent when I would be wholly surprised if you could tell our children apart.

What concern is it of yours if I take my daughter with me? By the time you return from school we shall very likely be exactly where you left us anyway. I shall do you the courtesy of telling you that I am in Paris as I write this but will likely have moved on by the time you find yourself reading it.

Why not forget this folly, Phineas? Let's not allow things to become unnecessarily unpleasant.
