Appearance: Ava is a bit thin for her average height with almost no curves. She is a bit pale in complexion, with brown eyes and brown hair. She wears average clothes and uses her right hand. Her hair is usually straight down to her shoulders, but some days she curls them with magic to give her hair some fall.
History: Ava was born as the first child to Preston II and Briseis, but she was not a love child and she did grew up with a lot of love in her first years. Briseis paid attention in the first few months, but she quickly became bored and that leave Ava with no choice but to try and act up to get her parents' attention. When Ava got a brother at the age of 3 she was unsure of what to mean about him but as she got older and learned to speak, she began giving Preston III the blame every time something went wrong. She became rather good at this and got happy when she got her Hogwarts letter in 1870 and is sorted into Hufflepuff. Her two first years go by without anything special happening but in her summer vacation between second and third year everything changed.
While being home her father took her out on a trip, that later in the family got known as the right of passage. He murdered right in front of her eyes and forced Ava to look. He said that he wanted her to be able to see thestrals, but after seeing this Ava never became the same.
She managed to keep her own personality, though it changed slightly so she became even more insecure of herself. However whenever she got even the slightest bit insecure of herself she turned completely and her second personality Lucia was born. Lucia was the complete opposite of the always insecure and worried Ava. In the beginning Ava did not know what brought Lucia to the strength, she was unaware of what she could do to avoid Lucia to take over. This meant that her third year in Hogwarts became the year where she lost the few friends she had. She did not dare to tell anyone about Lucia and she ended up sending several hexes towards unlucky persons walking by. Ava had no control of what Lucia was doing and as much as she wanted to apologize for all the problems Lucia gave Ava and other people she was still too scared of people judging her to tell anyone about it.
In 1877 the family moved to Hogsmeade, Ava only having one year left on Hogwarts. Her family had over time gotten to know about Lucia, but Ava's control of her was still minimal. She was, however, slowly getting an idea of why Lucia came when she did. She decided that summer before her final year that she would never have her own family, she would do her best to avoid people knowing about Lucia, so the thought of sharing a whole life with someone was simply impossible. Ave graduated in 1878 with decent grades, as long as she studied she managed to keep Lucia away, just as long as no one interrupted her. Since her graduation Ava has been fighting with Lucia to keep her away from her life, but she has now decided that she is able to control Lucia enough to try and get a real life standing, so she has gotten a job on Rosa Lee Teabag. In the beginning Lucia came back more than before, but Ava is fighting to keep her unknown. She works with her parents and brother Preston whenever they need it and she has a day off.
Personality: Ava has two personalities. Sometimes she is unaware of the chance, sometimes she knows. It all depends on the situation.
Ava is her normal personality, and she does not respond to anything but Ava or miss Endicott. Ava is usually only tormenting her brother to make him take the blame whenever something got wrong, but over the years she is beginning to put that away. She thinks of herself as a normal person, despite her second personality. Over the years Ava has become more insecure of herself and whenever she cannot see how she should act Lucia takes over.
Lucia is Ava's back-up. Whenever Ava feels like she is incapable of handling any situation, Lucia shows up and she is more or less the complete opposite of Ava. She is tough and bites before she asks any questions. To her it is all about the darkness in the world. She dwells in it and finds people in need of help to be weak and she has absolutely no mercy for weak persons.
Because of her split personality Ava has given up ANY thoughts of a future family and close friends. Currently the only persons knowing about Lucia is her family, and maybe some of her former year-mates since Lucia was harder to control in the beginning.
