    Apologies

    Dear Mister Prewett:
    March 21,1883

I was mistaken what I wrote on my letter to the Daily Prophet. I did not mean that crimes or other happenings were not important but rather, I wanted see other stories cover. I do not think Quidditch is more important than crime or death at Hogwarts. I guess I was not thinking when I wrote the letter. I let my heart and emotions dictate my letter to the Prophet. I wish I could take letter back but I guess the lesson is that every action in life has consequences even if you don't think that they do.

I should have thought what I was writing and how it could be interpretate in the wizarding world. I got owl from my grandparents and parents lecturing me about my letter, it was not fun to receive an owl from them. I really did not think they would feel insulted or get mad over my letter. I guess I still got things I need learn as I get older. Upper-Class girl like me needs to watch it's quill before it writes a letter and make sure it's not misinterpreted.

This is my apologizes for the foolish letter to the editor about covering more quidditch and less crime. The newspaper should cover what is important in the wizarding world not what I want to read.I will continue to be loyal reader and subscriber to the Prophet. Please accept my apologies about the foolish letter.

    Sincerely,

    Miss Astrid Eriksson

    Dear Miss Eriksson

I am happy that you read my respond to your letter. Personally I would prefer to see the Prophet with less Quidditch articles, but I am aware that the Prophet cannot be formed to my specific wishes.

When I was a student at Hogwarts I often wrote things that could be misinterpreted so I know where you are currently feeling.

Let me give you an advise, not to sound like an old angry man, but it might help you to avoid any owl from your parents.

Write down your emotions on a subject without thinking, hide it somewhere where no one will find it and then do something that will make you calm down.

Once you are calm, reread the letter and eventually re-write it. After that the chances of your letters being easily misinterpreted has lowered radically. If you can read the letter without it might be able to touch any emotions, then it is fine to send.

And burn any early versions of the letter, so no one will find them. I usually write my own articles that way, but sometimes my emotions run away with me.

Your apology is accepted and I am happy that you will stay as loyal reader.

    Mr. Prewett

    Dear Mister Prewett:

It is hard sometimes to write not angry. Most of the time, I write I'm angry about something. But it is true what you say,one should put the letters away when angry.

I should had thought twice what I wrote before I send it to the Prophet. But I wrote it after long day of school, I was angry about my day so I decided to take it on the letter.I learn my lesson that angry letters never work.Because they end up being put on the front page of the Prophet and it leads to consequences, that you never predicted like angry parents.

Thanks for responding to my letter and giving me advice about angry letters.I will follow your advice,so I don't end up in the Prophet front page again.

    Sincerely,

    Miss Astrid Eriksson
