- The night had started out bad and had only gotten worse as the time had went by. It had started out to be terrible, and then just it dropped down at horrible to peak when he left his friends and his mood was almost unbearable. Why, one could ask himself, was Gilroy Macfusty so damn right moody that he was walking along an empty street in the middle of the night when he should have been in his bed (or someone else's) a long time ago. The terrible moodiness had started after an argument about him leaving the family business to pursue his dreams. It had almost ended up in use of magic, but he had banged the door shut before anyone could cast even a single accio spell.
He had went out after that. Drinking heavily with his friends at a local tavern, chatting up the maids and sweeping drink after drink till he could no longer see straight ahead of himself. That was when he knew he had had enough, and he had left his friends together with some pretty girls at around three in the morning. The alcohol had spread out in his body, and he felt unbearably hot. He unbuttoned his jacket and hung it over his shoulder, pulling a hand trough his messy hair. He was sweating like a maniac, sweat drawing paths down his cheeks and collecting in droplets on his nose and below his mouth. He drew his small handkerchief out patting the worst areas.
He had no idea how he had gotten to Wellingtonshire, but he now stood in the small residential area, looking astonished he had even been able to walk thins far without him falling over. He had keen he wouldn't be able to go home after his drinking and the argument, and he had heard that James had moved to a small house somewhere in the area. He walked down the street looking for the right house.
It took him about ten minutes and at least walking by thirty times for him to find it. He began banging the door, shouting for the lad to open it up for him. He and his drunk mind came to the conclusion that Jamey-boy was sleeping unable to hear his dear brothers fight for a bed, and he would surly not mind him climbing trough that open window at the second floor. And convenient enough a big tree was standing right beside it with a branch hanging right outside. Tying his jacket around his hips Gilroy began climbing the three till he reached the branch he was after. He began walking happily out on the narrow branch, hearing it squee of anguish. His alcohol filled body did not notice and he continued out leaning closer to the open window. That was when the branch snapped.
Unusually quick for a drunken man he reach out and grabbed the windowpane and hanging helpless on the side of the house his mind could only think one thing, that James would be his ordinary self and waked up early in the morning.

He was sound asleep at the moment, unable to help himself at the moment. There were things in which he wished that he could be left alone with and sleeping was one of them. Plenty of times, the man couldn't help but to sleep soundlessly, without any problems at all. Yet, it seemed as though his dreams of sleep would not be lasting as long as what he had hoped for them to. It was only while he was sleeping that something, something weird, just happened to be happening outside of his window. If only he knew that his brother, Gilroy, would have been stupid enough in order to try his best in order to sneak into his house. He could hear some sort of noise outside, only causing him to shift and move into a more comfortable position. It wouldn't have lasted long when suddenly, there was another noise that sounded, that was a lot louder than the one before it. James couldn't help but to force his eyes open, allowing a moan to escape his lips as he shifted within his bed. "Can't people be quiet out there.." He shifted upon his back, his eyes staring upwards at the ceiling before him, trying his best in order to trace the lines with his eyes. James could feel the tiredness falling over his body again and his eyes began to close again, letting out a breath of air as he tried his best in order to fall asleep once more. It wouldn't happen û the man wouldn't be able to fall asleep at all for the noise sounded once more, this time right outside of his window. Quickly, he forced his eyes open, now wide awake, his eyes turning to look towards his window. Something was happening outside his window.
There must have been something around.
His heart was pounding up against his chest, trying his best in order to figure out what should be done, mind rushing inside of his head. There were things in which he wasn't expecting and at the moment, he never would have thought that someone would have broken into his home. Were people really that stupid? Apparently they were. Without a second thought of what was happening, he forced himself out of his bed, grabbing his robe and throwing it over his body before tying it up. It was then in which he reached for his wand, his mind buzzing. Where is it.. His hands hurried over the top of the bedside table, only to feel something and wrap his fingers around his wand. With satisfaction upon his face and bravery within his heart, he made his way towards the window. With his fingers grasping the window, he forced it open and stuck out his wand. "Lumos!" His words were sharp and clear, yet somewhat groggy with the tiredness that consumed his body. Yet, while he looked into the tree, he didn't see anything at all. There was no one there. A frown formed upon his face, confused with what was happening. He could have sworn that there was someone who was here. He had heard a noise that was sounded. Furrowing his brows together, trying his best in order to figure out what could have possibly happened, he pulled his head in and was about ready to shut the door when suddenly, he noticed something he hadn't before. There were hands upon the bottom of the window, as though someone was clinging onto dear life. Taking in a deep breath inwards, he learned forwards, surprised at what he had seen.
There, hanging upon his window, was one of his youngest brother's, Gilroy. His eyes widening in fear, his mouth agape, as he tried his best in order to figure out how this could have happened. Why was his brother clinging onto dear life! This wasn't what he was expecting at all from him. Without thinking, he decided to do the first thing that came to his mind: question his brother. "GILROY, WHAT THE HELL ARE YE BE DOING THERE?! ARE YE DAFT?" He was frantic in order to figure out what his brother was doing, especially when it came to him hanging from his window. This was not something in which he could have imagined whenever it came to his brother. Why couldn't the man have had one sane brother instead of a bunch of.. different ones? Apparently someone had decided to torture him to the best of his ability. It made him wish that he could just leave his brother clinging there, holding onto the window to dear life until morning. He was tired and therefore, he didn't want to deal with this at the moment. It was more of a hassle than what he could have imagined. One day, he just wished for the fact that his brothers would just be normal but then again, normal was overrated and the man had to deal with what he was given. It was something in which he couldn't help but to deal with at the moment. What else was he supposed to do? He just had to deal with it. "I should just be leaving ye hanging there to teach ye a lesson! Be lucky, Gilroy, that ye be me brother. Otherwise, if ye were not me brother, I would have blasted ye to the moon!" His words were threatening.
It was something in which his brother needed to know.
Although he really didn't want to help him at all, he knew that it was better in order to do such a thing. He couldn't leave his brother dangling (as much as he really wanted to) for it might just cause some problems later on down the road. Not that there weren't enough problems as it. Reaching out, he grabbed his brother tightly upon both of the wrists and began to pull him up, only to knock his head upon the window. He flinched, the pain running through him and yet, he still held onto his brother, not wanting to let go of him. James continued to do his best, trying to pull up the man and yet, it was hard, especially considering the fact that he probably weighed as much as he did. This was not going to be a pleasant time for him and he was certain û as much as he really didn't want to believe it û that by the time the sun rose up in the school, he would still be up and dealing with his brother. That thought caused a moan in order to escape his lips, that annoyance easily shown within his eyes. This was not something in which he wanted to do at the moment. No, he wanted to be wrapped up within his bed and yet, he got stuck up and wide awake, trying to help his brother into his house due to his stupidity. "Put ye back into it, Gilroy! I be naught pulling ye up by meself." He was trying his best in order to convince his brother to help him out, even though it might have been a lost cause at the moment. It was a shame that this had to be done û that everything had to be dealt with in this manner. He just wanted to be within his nice, warm bed and yet, that was never going to happen. At least not until he helped out his brother and got him to safety.
- It was quiet an odd feeling, hanging outside a window.
It was not really like flying on a broomstick, since you did not have the security of the object being beneath you. But he did still somewhat feel strangely safe up where he was, holding on for his dear life. (Which was not that easy considering that he was clearly... intoxicated.)
It was a beautiful night for hanging outside once brothers house. The sky was clear and the winds were only breezes that softly teased your chin. The branch he had fallen of had a broken sprout which he felt oddly sad for. Gilroy felt the time slowly float by, wondering why his dear brother was taking such a long time to wake up. He had created quiet a noise latching on the window pane.
Ah, now he did hear some sounds being made inside. A few silent steps that sounded quiet unsure and scared, a small whisper that sounded much like his brother. And then he could only see light. The blindness did not exactly help him in his quest for his life, and he nearly lost his grip when he suddenly felt a hand over his that saved him form the deep dark pit that where beneath him.
"Top of the morning to ye to, James! And no I am not daft, only a wee bit drunk lad!" The air around him was feeling chilly all of a sudden and he felt the nausea come over him. Maybe he shouldn't have taken that last glass of whiskey? He began hulking in the air. He looked up with red-rimmed eyes when his brother spoke.
"I could be happy for having only one brother tonight..." He mumbled to himself.
He felt his brother pulling on him, trying to get him up from his peculiar place outside the window. He tried to help him by finding a grip for his feet, which was nearly impossible since it was dark and he was quiet drunk. Finally he felt a latch beneath his tippy-toes. He pushed up and tumbled inside and down on the floor taking his brother with him.
"Do ye perhaps have a spare bed for a lonesome brother James?

How he hated his brother for his stupidity! It was not something in which he really wanted to really wanted to deal with at all. As a matter of fact, it seemed as though the man was just trying his best in order to make him more miserable than what could have been imagined. He wished that he would have just hidden himself better, hiding himself to the point in which the man wouldn't have been able to find him. How he wished that it was something he could have done at the moment but right now, he just needed to deal with his brother. He needed help and that was something in which he needed to do. Yet, at his comment, the man couldn't help but to roll his eyes, hoping that the man would have noticed it. This was something in which he really couldn't have helped but to do at the moment. This was something in which he wished that he could control and yet, he couldn't control his brother. His brother was someone û as much as he really didn't want to admit it û that he loved and therefore, he felt the need to look after him and ensure that everything was going to be alright. It might have been hard for him in order to admit something such as thing but he really had to deal with it. His brother was a strange man and apparently, being drunk was not something in which he should have done at all. He went further than what he would have thought, and had been unable in order to figure out what was wrong. It had caused the man in order to become puzzled, to wonder if this was really what his brother was like. Did the man always find a reason in order to drink and actually come to bother an elder brother?
He really didn't know at the moment.
When he was finally able to pull his brother to safety, his eyes just glared at him, trying his best in order to figure out what could have been said to him. But his statement only confused him. He was happy to have one brother tonight? What did he mean by that? One brow was raised upwards as he tried his best in order to figure out what could have been said. "What do ye mean about that, Gilroy?" The words were spoken softly to him, unable to help himself at all. It was something in which he was curious about. "What do ye mean that ye could be happy for having only one brother tonight? What happened? What is the meaning of such a thing as this?" There was something in which he really couldn't have understood at the moment. There must have been something in which the man had dealt with, especially whenever it came to the fact that his brother was acting strangely. Something had happened and the man pondered that very thought. Biting down upon his lower lip, he stood there just looking at his brother as he tried his best in order to figure it all out. "And ye smell of alcohol! How much did ye drink?" It was something in which he couldn't help but to question his brother at the moment. It was something in which he really couldn't help but to think about at the moment. It was something in which he wished that he could have talked to her about. Maybe, just maybe, something had happened tonight in which the man didn't know anything about. He wanted to know about it and yet, he had to wait to see what it was. There must have been something û there had to have been.
He kept himself silent, trying his best in order to figure out what should have been done with the man before him. Apparently, there must have been something in which he could have done. Luckily for him, it seemed as though his brother was going to let him know about it. For some reason, the man was trying his best in order to stay within his home? It was not something that he was pleased about, especially with the fact that the man didn't really want any of his brothers around him. James was just like that, trying his best in order to avoid everything as much as possible. Hopefully, it would be better that way. Allowing a sigh in order to escape his lips, his fingers running through his hair, messing it up more than what he would have liked, his eyes just turned away from his brother and towards his bed. He wanted to tell his brother no and to go away so that he could be alone but yet, it was not something that he could do. No, it wasn't something that he could do at all. Bringing his hand to the back of his neck, he rubbed it gentle before allowing his attention to return back to gaze at his brother before him. A small smile formed upon his face as he shook his head lightly. As grumpy as the man could be at times, he still had a heart buried somewhere within his chest. Luckily for his brother, right now was the time in which he would be more than willing in order to show him some sort of compassion. Dropping his hand towards his side, he looked at him for only a second, thinking about where he could have possibly stayed. There must have been a place somewhere around here that he could place him.
Well, the guest bedroom would probably be best.
"Ye should be lucky that ye be me brother otherwise, I would have turned ye away.." The words were softly spoken, a small yawn escaping his lips, showing off how tired the man really was. He didn't get much sleep in the first place and, too bad for him, he wasn't going to get much sleep at all. It was just the way that it was. It was something in which he really had to do and right now, this was the best thing for him. His brother would be here in order to keep him company and to ensure that nothing happened to him. It was something in which he really could not help but to think about. At least his brother was here with him. Taking in a deep breath, he waved him over closer towards him, as though asking him to follow. "Come and follow me, Gilroy. I will show ye to your room.." The words softly escaped his lips as he began to walk towards the front door. Opening it up, he walked out of the room and moved down the hallway, his eyes getting used to darkness around him. He continued to walk a little bit longer before stopping near the door on the right, grabbing the handle and pushing it open. There, standing before them was a room, a room in which was simply decorated yet was comfortable looking. This is where his brother was going to have his room. Turning his attention man to look at his brother, he offered himself a small smile upon his face. "Well, this is your room, brother. Hopefully, it will suit you and make your stay with me comfortable.." One brow was raised upwards as he looked at him, wondering what he would say at the moment. Hopefully, stay was something his brother would enjoy.
