Charming is a Victorian Era Harry Potter roleplay set primarily in the village of Hogsmeade, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and the non-canon village of Irvingly. Characters of all classes, both magical and muggle — and even non-human! — are welcome.
With a member driven story line, monthly games and events, and a friendly and drama-free community focused on quality over quantity, the only thing you can be sure of is fun!
"Are you always this forward?" He asked teasingly since it would be a very short thread if he just ignored her entirely. — Tobin Cartwright in Take A Peek
Did you know? Churchgoers and worshippers had to endure a foul stench during prayers due to the amount of bodies often stored within the vaults of churches and chapels.
Hello, and thank you for your time. For my Defense Against the Dark Arts class we are supposed to interview an auror. It's only five questions; I don't suppose that you'd have time to answer them for me?
Thank you again.
Sincerely,
Rasmus Mohr

Rasmus is half-veela, and so is supernaturally attractive to your ladies.
I ended my training in 1878 and began as a full time auror in 1879
My motives for becoming an auror were at first less professional. When I was around your age, all I wanted was adventure. If you have knowledge of a classmate with a knack for getting into mild trouble, that would have been me. As I grew older though, my tendencies for recklessness died down considerably - though my thirst for adventure was no less prominent, if not more - and I wanted to be able to defend not only myself but my friends and family as well.
I suppose you could say I’m a fanatic about the adventure that accompanies it, but what is most rewarding is the people I have the privilege to interact with and work with. They share my passion and are quite good in their line of work.
Desk-work. It is tedious, and after every assignment comes the paperwork - every detail must be included, and should you either forget or think that one detail wouldn’t hurt to be omitted, that will earn you another day’s work of forms to fill out.
Enjoy the adventure and the job, but never take it light-heartedly. The degree of your focus in an assignment could mean the difference between life and death for you and/or your colleague.
I wish you all the best on your assignment,
Mr. Benedict Sterling
