As the local crowd from the Three Broomsticks made their way home for the night Jacob locked up the shop doors and made his way into the darkness. Tonight he was heading to Hogsmeade station to pick up a a few barrels of Butterbeer , a trek he made twice every week. Tonight he decided to take his usual short cut through the slums, he always loved taking in the rowdy scenery and seeing what kind of trouble he could get into; even at the old age of 48 Jacob loved excitement.
As he made his way through the crowded, narrow slums he clenched his wand through his pocket, a sort of nervous compulsion. He wasn't dressed up today but had a few galleons in his pocket to pay for the shipment, it was best that he keep his guard up. Jacob rounded a corner and noticed a figure sitting on the stoop of a house. "Lumos" Jacob muttered quietly, causing the tip of his wand, now drawn, to illuminate his surroundings. The figure was a young lady, slim and athletic looking, very beautiful wearing very fine clothing.
"Hello M'am, what brings you to these parts?" Jacob said gently.
