She has dark brown hair and hazel eyes. Her lips are pouty and make her expression either far more hysterical or that much more serious. Valeria always dresses in the latest fashions and is always styled appropriately. After having three children, her form has gained some softness to it, and Valeria vehemently abhors the concept of beauty potions, so leaves her body alone. She is right handed. History: CHILDHOOD [1865-1876] Valeria is born the second child to Lucius and Alexandria Lestrange in July of 1865, joining brother Claudius, aged five. Less than a year later, brother Cassius is born in May of 1866. Sister Cornelia is born in 1870. As she aged, Valeria quickly grew jealous of her other siblings and created what now may be most affectionately called “devil spawn” and she caused many a flare up of violent, destructive accidental magic by 1872. These acts continued for most of her childhood, making red sparks usually appear to frighten and intimidate her younger sisters most. This hardly meant she wasn’t spoiled, however. New toys, ribbons and dresses were constantly used as items to deter her from angry outbursts. In 1873, Seneca joins the family and is quite seemingly the final child. Valeria hardly shows an interest in her lessons of letters but quickly rose to master them after being fed time and time again different etiquette manuals. She quickly decides she wants to be the portrait of the perfect lady and begins idolizing her far more wonderful aunt than her mother. Valeria subsequently masters her letters, and her penmanship develops as its own, but is graceful and elegant in its curves. Valeria’s lack of musical talent however, became apparent by aged nine. Poetry and art became her hobbies rather than the flute, harp, or piano. In 1875, Uncle Tybalt makes headlines and her cousin, Tiberius, comes to live with the family. He is a few years older than she is, and she quickly becomes enamored with him. Cash brings it upon himself to keep Tiberius and herself away from each other as much as he possibly can. HOGWARTS YEARS [1876-1883] The following year, Valeria receives her Hogwarts letter. She whisks off to Hogwarts with a new wand and a gray tabby named Angerona. She is sorted into Slytherin after a brief contemplation between Slytherin and Ravenclaw. She was restless as the wait for her turn in the sorting ceremony seemed to draw on for ages even after she walked with pride and calm to the Slytherin table. After classes began, Valeria took quickly to Charms and Defense Against the Dark Arts. Before her second year, the family moved to Hogsmeade. Many of her cousins’ families follow suit. Cassius goes to Hogwarts and is sorted into Ravenclaw. For her third year in 1878, Valeria only adds Divination to her courses. She becomes very interested in the art of Divination and focuses on it. She develops curves and starts wearing corsets. That and she became more interested in her older cousin Tiberius. She knows that the feelings are not appropriate, so she doesn’t tell anyone of her affections. By the end of her fourth year in 1880, Tiberius and her share a rather intimate moment that ends with a kiss. In 1880, she begins prepping for her OWLS in the spring of 1881. She didn’t do terribly. Valeria is smarter than many people believe kthnx. Her scores were as follows: OWL SCORES Astronomy A Charms E Defence Against the Dark Arts O Divination O Herbology A History of Magic A Potions E Transfiguration O She proceeds to drop: Astronomy and History of Magic. In her sixth year, Valeria becomes more intrigued with the Dark Arts and begins lightly studying them. Divination and the Dark Arts become a primary focus during the summer. She purchases her own tarot set and begins to practice quietly. She graduates in 1883 with the following scores: NEWT SCORES Charms O Defence Against the Dark Arts O Divination O Herbology E Potions A Transfiguration E Post-Hogwarts [1883-1888] She meets Theseus Greengrass at her Coming Out Ball and arrangements are made quite quickly for the couple. The wed in December of the same year. Cornelia is pulled from school during the Christmas holidays to wed her betrothed/cousin William to avoid public scandal on William’s part. Valeria feels for her sister for she is so young to be wed so quickly and so shortly after her own wedding. Valeria’s Italian honeymoon filled with trysts and sightseeing is cut short so she may attend Tullia’s wedding. By spring 1884, Valeria discovers she is pregnant but not with her husband’s child. Tiberius is the father of her first child, born in October and subsequently named Tobin Cyprian. #thisisachange In 1885, the Greengrasses travel back to continental Europe, visiting France and Spain. Tiberius marries Antigone Baudelaire in the summer of 1885. Valeria thinks lowly of her and does not do much to befriend the younger woman, going so far as to call her “unworthy of being a Lestrange.” Valeria begins researching more into the Dark Arts and begins practicing some darker magics.  By late 1885, she is once again pregnant and is once again carrying a bastard. Venus Valencia is born in 1886 and Valeria quickly becomes painfully aware post-partum that she is falling in love with her husband. Her emotions become very conflicting with her lover, Tiberius, and her husband. She tells not a soul. 1887 is rather dramatic. She bears a legitimate son for once named Astorius Hudson shortly before her Aunt Olivia’s death at the tragedy of the Wizarding World Market. Valeria suffers from nightmares and retreats to near solitude for the entirety of her mourning period, seeing her husband infrequently. Tiberius contacts her for the first time since before Venus was born and, as Valeria comes to him like a well trained dog, heeds his request. All of his requests, including a bizarre twist of fate that would have her bear him another son, if possible, for him to claim as his own. Her own animosity towards his wife, Antigone, is dwarfed by her love and devotion to him. In early 1888, Valeria traveled for three weeks to India (her suggestion) with Theseus on a retreat to hopefully balance her emotions again. Personality: Valeria, as a teen, was very selfish and cruel especially to those of unsavory or less fortunate upbringings. She has always had a pompous, arrogant air about her that made it clear to others that she thought she was above them. To her social equals, Valeria was warm, personable, and had no problem making conversation. Valeria also focused on her studies, though was never fully confident in her intelligence. She once dreamed of becoming an academic, though those dreams were squashed as she grew older and more refined and ladylike. Becoming the apple of her parents’ eyes was soon her only goal. But Valeria, as cunning and intelligent as she is, is a romantic at heart. She ended up falling more in love with her cousin, and then after the birth of her second child, began to fall in love with her husband. Basically she’s a mess but holds it together because she’s trying to worm her way up the social ladder and be a lady of renown. She idolized her aunt and now tries to shape herself in her image.
