Dolly Leigh v. Castor Allaway

Lila was always pleased to moderate duels and that day was no different. Reading the rules she turned to Miss Leigh. "Miss Leigh may start our duels!" She said in a pleasant tone.

  

[Dolly Leigh]

Dolly quickly began her second round match by transfiguring her hair ribbon into a flower.

  

[Castor Allaway]

• Castor didn’t like dueling girls. Resisting the urge to sigh, the Gryffindor waited until his housemate had taken her turn before attempting to transfigure the dummy into a tree.

Lila watched both displays with a critical eye before deciding who had done the best job. "The round goes to Mr. Allaway. He may begin the next round as well." she announced with a smile on her face.

Leigh: 7 | Allaway: 9

  

[Castor Allaway]

• Well. That hadn't been so bad. Enjoying his first round win, the Gryffindor went about shrinking the dummy. If all went well, it would be no larger than a thimble when he was done with it.

Determined, Dolly transformed her flower into a butterfly.

Lila watched both displays, deciding easily who would win. Miss Leigh's butterfly - though obvious what it was - looked much more like a moth and there was something quite off about it. Mr. Allaway, however, shrunk the dummy perfectly. With a smile, she announced: "Mr. Allaway takes the round and the duel! Congratulations."
