    Kellie Pender v. Eleora Etherium
    #1
It was that girl from the first round, Miss Pender and a Countess. While many wizards didn't seem to particularly like titles because they were a muggle thing, Huxley would certainly not mind being the Earl of some important place!

He went over the rules, mostly for Miss Pender because she did not come from an important family such as Countess Etherium's and such people always had to be reminded of the rules lest they broke them and created chaos like revolutions.

    "Miss Pender, begin when ready!"

Kellie did not wanted to hear the rules once again, it would be the third time, not to add that she had read on it the second she had signed up for the tournament. She would be prepared so they could not find any reason for her not to enter. But she stayed silent and did not allow the emotion of annoyance show even for a second.

She felt inspired by the coming christmas, and tried to make the snow surrounding them into a large snow sculpture.

Eleora curtsied politely first to Mr. Collins-Potter, then to Miss Pender; she did not think that she would have any trouble making it through this round of the dueling tournament. She was quite glad to see that she had not lost her touch while she was convalescing.

When Miss Pender completed her display, Eleora raised her wand and conjured snowflakes, which she transformed so that they turned to white rose petals as they fell.

Just like Huxley expected, Countess Etherium had the superior display. Maybe he was slightly biased due to her title, but her snowflakes were transfigured perfectly. Miss Pender’s… sculpture? on the other hand, left something to be desired. Huxley could not really tell what she was trying to do, as it looked like an abandoned snowman that had stayed up long enough to see the spring and melt.

“Round goes to Countess Etherium!” Huxley announced. “Who may also start the next.”

Eleora rose her wand to continue the contest, and transfigured the flower petals around her feet into little white butterflies, which flew into the air around her.

She took a critic look at the attempted snow sculpture, and she could see the justice on the decision that the point should go to the countess. She took a deep breath and decided to go for something completey different.

As such she decided to try and create a paperswan out of some parchment she always had on her, in case she had a sudden need to write something down.

Again, Countess Etherium's display was much more exciting than Miss Pender's, although this time she had at least managed to create something with a shape.

"Countess Etherium wins the duel!" he announced happily.
