Dear Constance,

How are you? I hope your summer has been better than mine. First of all, I’m really sorry for not writing a happier letter and sorry if you find it bothersome. It’s just I need someone to talk with.

For the past month, everything is just chaotic back here and well it is because of Sweetie. My other sister, Darling, and her had a fight which resulted with Darling leaving the house and after that she attempted to meddle with my brother’s friendship with the hufflepuff prefect, Miss Backus, after she misunderstood their relationship! Now, Sweetie had ran away as well.

I wish to mend our relationship. Probably after my sibling and her are in better terms.  I know that you two hadn’t been speaking recently but I need advice. What can I do, Constance? She won’t approach me and it seems like the two of us would just fight if I try to get near her.

Dear Honey,

I wish I could say that my summer has been one of ease and joy. I haven't had an opportunity for socialization, unfortunately. Mother's friends have started avoiding us since the reconciliation, though Father's friends still acknowledge that we are on their level - mainly because most of them want their daughters - who are my age - to wed my brother one day. Who knew that textiles could bring such a fame?

Yet, I am starved for conversation, for the presence of others who'd understand. It's lonely here. I never thought I could be so alone.

Is there any chance that I could perhaps have a day trip with you?
