Meeting The Queen Of The Votes

The sad part of being her age, and a woman, was that Acacia could not vote. If she could, the answer would be quite clear. She would vote for Mrs. Greyback in a heartbeat. Both a woman and a Half-Breed rights activist, she would be a perfect Minister, in Acacia's opinion. The only one that would be better would be an actual Half-Breed. That was something that made Acacia wish with all of her heart that she was older. If she was of the right age to run for Minister, she would almost immediately. Her life was crumbling, and as Minister, she hoped that she could possibly fix that.

Now she was at one of the very woman's events, and proud to be there. The young red-head was also hoping to spread the word of her own event, and perhaps invite the future Minister herself! Wouldn't it be wonderful, to have a candidate on her side, helping to support her cause! That was something that Acacia hoped would happen, and would be proud to have happen if it did.

Looking around at the sites of the Museum, she couldn't help but look to the paintings of the artists who had come before her, and it made her think, in the back of her mind, of her hopes that she would one day be that amazing. To earn the spot in a Museum for her paintings, to be labelled a great and famous painter? It was something that she hoped would one day occur. Perhaps her mother would see it, and realize what she had truly left behind all of those years before.

Finally, she caught site of Mrs. Greyback herself. Walking over, trying not to look too rushed, she stopped near the woman, waiting for her conversation to finish, before walking up to her. "Mrs. Greyback?" She said, hoping that the woman would take the time to talk with her. Perhaps she had been too quick to greet the woman that was of higher class than her? Maybe the woman was less fond of Half-Breeds than the papers had Acacia believe? Anxiety was nagging at the back of her mind, and Acacia wished that it didn't, that her nerves would calm for her.
