She didn’t have any particular destination this time, so she was just retracing the steps she used to take while she was still among the living. Others, perhaps, would find it boring, but not if they lived long enough to find all their memories tied to the same place, and not if no one else was around who remembered them, aside from a couple annoyances she preferred to avoid.

This time, her chosen place included the halls of the school, and she lightly trailed along the ground, regretting that she could no longer walk – just mimic the others walking. A book in hand, but for now not interested in it, she paused by the window, looking down on the grounds and finding it as familiar as before, only the season now changing to winter. It would be holidays soon, and then the castle would be mostly open for her perusal, but so far she kept to one of the emptier halls she knew no one really walked. An occasional student or two could find themselves lost in them, however, so she swept down the hall further, eyes scanning the surroundings for anyone lost. After all, it was amusing enough to see, as she could well recall herself in the same situation, and perhaps, she might lend a hand, as far as she was able (or willing) to do so.
