OCTOBER 7TH 1886
SECOND VIPERTOOTH FOUND
ONLY ONE SURVIVOR |
The remaining Peruvian Vipertooth on the lam—called ‘Fang’ has been recovered, as has the team sent to restrain it, with mixed results. Two men are dead after being held captive in a cavern in Wales for more than a week, one charred and one assumed eaten. Mr. Garvey O’Rourke and Mr. Horatio Spavin’s remains (what could be retrieved of tem) were returned to their families yesterday afternoon as Mr. Vernon Avery, the lone survivor, was delivered to Hogsmeade Hospital after suffering extensive burns. _____________________________________________________________ |
Mr. Avery’s condition is described as ‘dire, but probably not deadly’ by area healers, and his family are reportedly very relieved indeed to have him found. Fang’s former owner, Mr. Corbin Conrad, has had two counts of murder and one of attempted murder added to his rather extensive list to account for the actions of his highly illegal ‘pets’ and will appear before the Wizengamot later on this month.
