    Letter of Enquiry

    Mr. Scrimgeour,
I am enquiring after the positions posted at your academy, namely the position of Apothecarist. I graduate from Hogwarts with Outstandings in N.E.W.T level potions and herbology, and had a year long apprenticeship with Mr. H. Pennyhill in London. Unforeseen circumstances forced me to quit my apprenticeship, but I have been working at the Beautiful Beasts Boutique, specializing in making the potions for sick animals.

I hope my level of skill is what you're hoping to find. I am more than willing to demonstrate my knowledge in an interview, and I can show you the necessary documents from my studies. Letters of recommendation can also be procured.

    Thank you for your consideration.

    With regards,
    L. Lovell

    Dear Miss Lovell,

Thank you for taking the time to send me an inquiry; I have no doubt that your skills could contribute to the success of my business. While the official school season will begin on September 1st, I would advise that you come in beforehand for training. I look forward to hearing from you in coming days.
