Eva's sudden enthusiasm at the change of topic made Cora smile. How lovely, she seemed quite the girl in love. Cora hoped she considered herself a lucky woman - that wasn't always the case with most ladies, and for Cora herself, she could only hope she would be content with the man she would marry. If there wasn't to be any affection in her future marriage, she would transfer that to her children – despite not feeling the motherly type, it was inevitable for children to be in her future, and thus she had resigned to that possibility.
Again with the muggle titles...what was with magic folk and their fascination with such silly labels? Despite this, of course she was slightly jealous that Eva had started a courtship. Cora insisted on remaining on the positive side - there was still time, and at least she wasn't as old as poor Miss Lovegood. Spurned not once but twice! At least the second time was a courtship and not a betrothal. "Unfortunately no," she said wistfully, though kept a pleasant expression on her face. "I do remain hopeful though, and it sounds like you've made yourself quite a match." She smiled. "I hope you and him are very happy together!"
