You Won't Believe What Kind Of Plot Ideas I Have For Meta!

I hope my clickbaity title brought you here. ;)

Just some plot ideas and goals I have for Meta once she's at Hogwarts!

1. "I don't even know that guy!"

Meta here will be a Gryffindor. Her brother is @'Kristoffer Lestrange', who is a prefect and kind of a dick. I'd love for that to make some Gryffindors mistrustful and resentful of Meta. "Oh, you're related to that guy? Well, he's a dick. :)" and "Hey, Meta, I will have to serve detentions for a month because of your brother. :)" In response, Meta will be all "I don't even live in the same house as him, give me a break!" and may or may not try to prove that she's a Gryffindor too, you guys!

@'Elias Grimstone' - Related to that; I kind of want for Meta to find out at some point that Kris took many points from some Gryffindor and for her to go to Kris all "Yo, don't be a dick to my house, HEAR ME ROAR MOFO!" This could happen anytime between mid October till May, so lmk when you're up for new threads! :D <3

2. "Oh wow, [muggleborns, poor people, etc] are people, too!"

Meta was taught all her life that, as a UCPB Lestrange, she's better than almost everyone. Once she's in Gryffindor, however, she'll soon realize that this kind of attitude can't fly. I'd love for her to initially alienate some housemates because of that! Like "Yo, you can't tell me what to do, I'm a Lestrange!" "Mmm honey, you should have asked the Hat to put you in Slytherin because we won't tolerate this attitude here."

I'd also love for her to meet some MC/LC HB/MB kids. As a UCPB child, I imagine that she rarely got to actually interact with anyone who wasn't UCPB. And if she did, she was almost always a dick because she was taught that she was better than them and she lacks say, Seneca's subtlety. xD I'd love for her to meet people who aren't UCPB and see that they aren't that bad and that they're even people she likes.

I KNOW, it's a super cheesy eye-opening, "Meta's Sirius Black-esque Awakening" thing, but I want to play it out. :P

I have @'Eliza Tremlett' as an incoming MCMB first year! I'm not sure which house she'll get into yet (likely Gryffindor or Hufflepuff, or maybe just a very cheerful Ravenclaw), but they'd still get to interact regardless! Prior to this, she's had little exposure to the prejudice purebloods hold against muggleborns (and probably doesn't understand it either), and would be very, "What have I done to make you hate me?? D:" xD

Ooooh yes Eliza is perfect for what I have in mind! Meta might be more inclined to like her if she's a Gryffindor, because she'll grow to be REALLY loyal to her house, but we should have them interact regardless! I'd love for them to interact initially in such a way that Meta doesn't realize that she's a muggleborn, and then Meta can be all "my uncle's on the Wizengamot, what does your uncle do?" or something along those lines and it is revealed that Eliza is a muggleborn and she's really iffy about it for a bit but also conflicted because she potentially grew to like her.

OH and it could be really funny because Eliza looks like Kitty Yaxley, so Meta could totally assume that she's related to them before the ~Big Reveal~. xD

Well, I just remembered that Kitty Yaxley's in Hufflepuff, so there's a pretty good chance she'll get Gryffindor lol. But yes, that sounds perfect! ^.^

I have Cammie here who's a MCMB in the year above her! He's very friendly with other children from his house, but there's no doubt he'd be wary of a girl who bears the Lestrange name!

Hestia is totally scared of Slytherins because of Kristoffer, so I'm sure she's scared of the very name Lestrange (big clap to the purists for scaring the half blood). So I'm gonna imagine that, Gryffindor or not, Hestia is gonna be totally scared of Meta. But perhaps Meta and her could actually start getting to know each other, Hestia would try to be friends (since she's going to be my brave mini-Gryffindor). And perhaps while Hestia is getting over her fear, Meta is getting over her family views? This would be very interesting is Meta joined Hestia and @'Sapphire Weasley' in their friendship.

NGL, I feel like if Hestia showed that she's scared of her, Meta wouldn't try to change that? :P She'd probably be all "Isn't Gryffindor supposed to be the brave house, loser?" or she would just not interact with her because I assume if Hestia's scared of her she'd avoid her? If Hestia would openly be all "your brother is a dick", though, we could do something about that! :) @'Hestia Fairchild'

Perhaps if Meta was all like "Why are you so scared of me?" (How she says it is up to you), and Hestia's all like "Because your brother is a jerk who attacked* me", and we can see what happens?

*He didn't full on attack her, but Hestia sees it as that. That was this thread.
