"Are you always this forward?" He asked teasingly since it would be a very short thread if he just ignored her entirely. — Tobin Cartwright in Take A Peek
Did you know? Churchgoers and worshippers had to endure a foul stench during prayers due to the amount of bodies often stored within the vaults of churches and chapels.
Over two months on, and Fairy still hadn’t quite adjusted to her new colouring. Whilst darker hair meant she could now wear the golden tones that had once clashed with her hair, it also meant her pastel dresses washed her out entirely. The only thing to be done was to order a whole new wardrobe, something her mother had evidently attacked with extreme delight, relishing the fact that her husband had decreed that no expense was to be spared. The chests of new clothing had frankly swamped the young rose, but if nothing else she now at least had a chance to avoid being called out by Witch Weekly- again!
This was her first ball since the disastrous Halloween one, and despite her usually meek demeanor, she was determined to impress and make up for the fiasco over her last attire. She wore a dramatically draped gold dress that sat quite well with her dark hair, citrine necklace finishing the ensemble off with no risk of offending the colour police. Fairy was still far from comfortable, however, and as she skirted the edge of the room, she found herself wishing she could find her mother, or Ismene, or really anyone she knew!

Marcellus' mother had never been very concerned about her children's relationship status. As a veela, she'd constantly worried about her own appearance and looking appealing to men... even those who weren't his father. It left Albinus with the responsibility of getting both of his children married off before suspicions began to raise. Marcellus was never really vain, at least not like his mother and sister. That didn't mean he didn't enjoy charming ladies with his veela charms, though.
"It seems like you've been left to your own devices, Miss," he said smoothly, walking up besides the dark-haired woman. He recognized her from the dumb Witch Weekly that his sister had lying around within the past few weeks. "Would you like to dance?" he offered, giving her a smile that he doubted she would resist.
Because Marcellus is 1/2 veela, your female is most likely attracted to him.
Fairy gave a start as a man rather suddenly approached her. She was a flinchy creature at best, let alone when men rather abruptly spoke to her when she wasn’t expecting it- even if the man was rather remarkably good looking.
Unfortunately, like whenever Fairy had to speak to good-looking men, she immediately got rather awkward. Any grace that had been drilled into her seemed to vanish in favour of a rabbit in the headlights approach. “Oh!” She started rather suddenly, glancing around in the hope he was addressing some other young lady- after all, he had not introduced himself before asking, which made her think he was adressing someone who did know him behind her, but after seeing that there was no one else, realised rather suddenly it was her. “If it would not be an inconvenience, sir, I am at leisure.” Fairy replied hesitantly, unsure of how to behave.
