Appearance: Standing at a rather unremarkable height (5'1") she is neither petite or plump but a happy medium. Her coloring is on the lighter side with light brown hair that could be considered blonde by some. Sylvie's eyes are blue and her features quite expressive. While not excessively obsessed with fashion, she does try to appear presentable and has been known to prefer the use of hats. She is right handed in all she does but for archery which she has taken the time to train herself to do with either hand.
History:
May 1862 | Surprise! Sylvia Faye Podmore is born, a rather unexpected pregnancy a full six years after Clinton was born. She is a tiny little thing with a full head of cornsilk hair and big blue eyes. She quickly charms her entire family with her bubbly, animated nature. Later that year, her second eldest brother is away to Hogwarts where Sydney becomes a Slytherin.

1863 | Valerie is sent off to Hogwarts.

1865 | Hudson graduates from Hogwarts.

1866 | Clinton is sent off to Hogwarts. Sylvia shows her first signs of magic by turning all her dresses blue when she didn't want to wear the pink dress.

1869 | Syd graduates and takes an internship at the hospital.

1870 | Hudson marries his childhood sweetheart which Sylvie finds to be quite romantic. Syd gets a proper position at the hospital and Valerie graduates and debuts.

1872 | Valerie begins a courtship with her future husband. Sylvie finds him a bit boring but her sister seems happy so she doesn't cause too much trouble.

School year 1873-1874 | Sylive goes off to school and is sorted into Gryffindor. Clinton graduates. Valerie marries.

School year 1874-1875 | Valerie suffers a miscarriage.

School year 1875-1876 | Valerie has her first child. Sylvie adds Care of Magical Creatures and Muggle Studies as electives.

School year 1876-1877 | Hogsmeade is founded but the family does not chose to relocate with only one child left in Hogwarts and a well established life in London.

School year 1877-1878 | Sydney begins to court a young witch and Sylvie is quite excited that he seems to have found someone that he likes. Sylvia sits for her OWLs:

School year 1878-1879 | The courtship between Syd and The Inglorious Strumpet is dissolved and Sylvie vows never to forgive the woman for two-timing her brother. (To this day she gives the woman the evil eye and the turned up nose whenever she happens to see her.)

School year 1879-1880 | Sylvia sits her NEWTs:

She graduates and on her eighteenth birthday is debuted in a ball thrown by her family that doubles as a birthday celebration. Though there are a few interested suitors, Sylvie finds them all to be quite boring and finds that there is no great love to be had with any of them; not that she's set her mind on love. She declares that she will not marry a boring man, that love is all well and good but not essential; however, boredom is intolerable.

1885 | After four seasons, Sylvia still hasn't found a man to interest her. Syd is promoted to Assistant Head of the Creature Induced Injuries Department and with their mother's health failing health she has both decided to make at least some effort to find a man who isn't entirely boring. She's also decided that she would help Syd because obviously he needs help and why wouldn't he want his baby sister playing recon for him?
